@Fraust

Cas closed his eyes again during the flight and didn't hop out of Sorin's arms as soon as they landed like usual. He seemed to have briefly dozed off.

@Bananapudding

Sorin set him down gently but stopped to narrow his eyes on his door.

It's open. He cursed under his breath when he realized he had forgotten to close it.

@Fraust

Cas swayed on his feet for a moment before he fully snapped back to consciousness again. "What did I miss…?"

@Bananapudding

Sorin froze as he saw the figure in their living room with its back turned towards them. Its hair cascaded down to its waist like a black river, covering the pockets of its leather pants. The figure brought a suffocating felling of dread. That's when his blood ran cold.

"Berenice," he struggled to breathe as he said her name, now clutching onto Cas tighter.

@Fraust

Cas meowed quietly in fear, feeling like a scared child as he cowered behind Sorin. His ears turned back and his tail tucked between his legs as he watched Berenice.

@Bananapudding

She turned around, most of her feather light hair moving to her other shoulder. The only color on her face was her scarlet lips, the rest of her body being extremely pale. She smiled at the two of them, not a warm smile, but an unsettling one as she toyed with Cas's yarn ball in her hand.

@Fraust

Cas couldn't help but keep his eyes fixed on the yarn, a soft rolling meow of curiosity rolling off his tongue. He'd much rather look at the yarn then Berenice as she honestly kinda scared him. He was sure she was beautiful, although he wasn't attracted to women, so that didn't intrigue him much.

@Fraust

Cas tried to stop himself, honestly he did, but he couldn't stop himself from running after the yarn towards the kitchen.

@Fraust

"No! You can't take him!" Cas ran in from the kitchen and tackled Berenice, trying his best to hold her down. "H-He doesn't want to go!"

@Bananapudding

Berenice pushed him off easily before Sorin could get to him. She sighed and stood up, brushing off her clothing all the while Sorin lead Cas behind him and away from her.

"Move along, this conversation isn't for you," she smiled and began making a shooing motion with her hands. "Go on now. Be a good pet and obe–."

"Don't talk to him like that," Sorin snapped but felt a twinge of guilt when he did so.

@Fraust

Cas hissed, holding onto Sorin's hand tightly. "I'm not his pet, bitch. Call me one again and see what happens." Although he was still nervous, he was pissed, which seemed to help mask his fear.

@Bananapudding

Berenice narrowed her eyes on their hands and tilted her head. "Out of all the people you replace me with…" she chuckled. "Your standards sure have gotten low."

@Fraust

"I'm not just a replacement. That suggests we're equal. I'm new and improved, honey, and I'm worth ten of you. Sorin got kicked out because of you, and you don't even fucking care. Why would he choose to go back to someone who treats him like shit?" Cas glared up at Berenice, all fear forgotten.

@Bananapudding

Berenice stared at him, devoid of all emotion then smirked. "Sorin, if you ever get bored of that toy, you can always come back to me," the whites in her eyes were replaced with black.

@Fraust

"Whatever the hell you're doing with your eyes, stop it and leave. You're not welcome here." Cas kept staring down Berenice, hissing quietly again in irritation.

@Bananapudding

"And who are you again?"

"Berenice," Sorin spoke louder than he intended. "please. Leave." She walked toward him, the sound of her heels echoing a bit against the wooden floor.

"Sorin," she lightly dragged her nail across his cheek then caressed it with her knuckle. "you left me by myself and you refuse to come back, then when I come to you… and i'm not welcome?" her iris glowed a bright red as she licked his blood from her finger, her eyes glued on Cas.

@Fraust

Cas pushed her away from Sorin, his tail fluffing up again. "He said leave. Take too long to obey and I'm not gonna be as nice."

@Bananapudding

Sorin stood in front of Cas and held his arm out to make sure she didn't make any contact with him. I could easily kick her out of here, but he didn't. Couldn't.

Berenice rolled her eyes and folded her arms over her chest. "I have a right to be here. I'm his girlfriend." Sorin narrowed his eyes at her.

"No. You're not."

@Fraust

"Yeah, what he said. You literally said that he broke up with you earlier, which means you're no longer dating. So… bye bye, honey. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Or do. Doesn't matter to me."

@Bananapudding

Berenice stood there, emotionless and said nothing. Then the windows began to crack, one by one they shattered. Books flew off the book shelf, plates, cups, and other kitchen utensils clattered– a few of them shattering on the ground.

All the while she stood there, emotionless. Though Sorin wasn't at all surprised by her behavior. He's lived with her long enough to get use to her tantrums when she didn't get what she wanted. She walked towards the door, snarling and glaring at Cas when she passed him.

@Fraust

Cas glared right back, pretending he wasn't intimidated. He relaxed a bit once she left and sighed. "God… I hope she wasn't that bad when you were dating."
