"What? Why'd we get dressed for the interview then?"

"you did, I didn't. I was just pulling out clothes for you to try for tomorrow." He said with another laugh

"Oh… I thought you were wanting me to put them on now." Nathaniel looked down at himself. "Should I take them off?"

V shrugged and sat on the bed "if you want, unless you want to go out or something,"

"I mean, we could… it's been a while since we left." Nathaniel sat down beside V.

He nodded "we could go walking in the streets, it's pretty quiet around this time." He said, glancing at Nathaniel

"Sounds good to me." Nathaniel got back up and stretched, yawning a bit.

V stood as well and headed to the living room "you sure you'll be able to stay awake?"

"I'm awake. People yawn for other reasons than being tired, you know." Nathaniel stuck out his tongue and laughed.

"hm, yes they do but it's mostly because their tired, especially around this time." He argued with a laugh, grabbing his keys and opening the door

Nathaniel held V's hand once they were outside and walked along contentedly. He had a little spring in his step and a small, genuine smile that exposed his dimples.

V glanced over at him with warm some "are you just doing that to prove to me you're not tired?" He asked

"What? No! I'm just happy." He grinned and squeezed V's hand for a moment.

"you're a terrible liar, admit it, you love proving me wrong." He kissed Nathaniel's hand

"I'm not tired, I swear! Am I not allowed to be happy to be with you?" Nathaniel huffed.

"yes you most certainly are allowed" he laughed and pulled him close to kiss his head

Nathaniel's genuine smile came back and he looked up at V as they walked. "I love you."

V glanced down at him and kissed his lips "I love you too,"

"Where do you wanna go, love?" Nathaniel asked cheerfully.

"I'm not sure if there's many places to go. Most shops are closing by now." He said, glancing around

"We could go to the park? I'm pretty sure that's almost always open."

V nodded "probably," he lead v to the sml park around the corner from the bakery they visited

Nathaniel walked with V for a while before sitting down in the grass beside a pond. "This is nice…"

V sat behind him with his legs on either side. He tested his head on Nathaniel's shoulder and watched the still pond. "Mhm, really nice."

Nathaniel smiled softly and glanced at V before turning back to the lake. "It's a really nice night… we should come here more often."

"we could if you want, and only if you promise to stay awake." He said with a small smile

"Tonight or every night? 'Cause I'm already feeling sluggish…" Nathaniel yawned and leaned back against V.

"maybe not every night but most." He suggested, nudging Nathaniel awake "told you you were tired." He muttered, shifting a bit so that Nathaniel was his his lap

Nathaniel turned around so he could wrap his legs around V's waist and his arms around his neck. "I'm tired now, but earlier I was okay…"

"mhm, surrreee…." He laughed and kissed Nathaniel's brow "ready to go back home and sleep?"
