Elyisia broke through the water and swam closer to shore "why we didnt come here sooner, I will never know"

"Because everyone besides you is terrible at organizing group plans?" Raena suggested.

Eliysia put a finger to her chin, pretending to think before nodding "I admit, I am awesome at planning these things" she grinned

Raena rolled her eyes. "Just because you're the sole person with the capability doesn't mean you're awesome at it," she informed her before pausing. "But yes. You're decent."

Eliysia splashed water and looked at her have you gone swimming yet?"

"I'm literally floating like 15 feet away from you," Ranea called back, briefly looking up.

"I asked if you swam, like beneath the water." She deadpanned, splashing g water in her direction.

Raena flinched violently, almost falling beneath the water. She sputtered, pushing her hair out of her face. "Yes, of course. I couldn't see anything, mind, so it was difficult, but yes."

Elyisia grinned "wanna see who can hold their breath longer?"

"Sure," Raena shrugged, wiping water from her eyes. "But I'm going to win," she told her with a grin.

Elyisia splashed her again "tough chance." She said

"Um alright." Finch said and smiled.

Without entirely realizing he was thinking it, a small voice in the wayback of Jidhr's head thought Finch's smile was really cute. Jidhr blinked for a moment, processing the thought he had in his mind for a couple moments. It was…true, but surprising.

Finch smiled and looked around at the beach and the shells and stones littering the sand. He thought a bit about Jidhr but pushed the thoughts away knowing he didn't feel the same.

Jidhr quickly reached down to pick up a shell halfway lodged in the sand. It was a junonia shard, the dark brown dots rich against the paper white base. "This is pretty," He murmured to himself, studying it.

Finch looked over and looked at the Shell Jidhr had then he nodded.

Jidhr put it in his pocket for later, continuing to walk with Finch. Occansionally he would glance down at him, the sun filtering through the trees and shining against his light brown skin.

Finch looked over a Jidhr at one point. "Should we start walking back over to the others?" He asked quietly.

Elyisia splashed her again "tough chance." She said

Ranea crossed her arms. "We'll see about that," she challenged. "Ready? Get set, GO!" She yelled, propelling herself to the ground and sitting cross legged, opening her eyes after a few seconds to look around.

Elyisia followed closely and sat on the sandy ground

Raena tilted her head and smiled, her eyes sparkling with mischief. She started the timer on her watch, then started playing with the sand and various rocks around her.

Eliysia shook her head and started trying to draw shapes in the sand

After a few moments, Raena got bored of the sand and lay on her back, looking up at the sun shining through the water. She knew she could make it to at least 3 minutes, hopefully 4. Finally, the time had come when her freediving practice would come in handy.
