Elyisia let put a small bubble and lay on her stomach as she looked at the simple wildlife around her

Elysia gasped and broke through the water, coughing "I cant believe I lost." She grumbled

Tilting her head, Raena followed slowly. "Are you all right?"

"Yeah, my dumbass decided to gasp underwater." She grumbled and heard her phone ringing "crap, it's my mom."

Raena nodded and swam to shore, where she heard her own ringtone, Riptide by Vance Joy. Obviously. She quickly ran over to her phone and sighed. "Hello?"

Finch looked over a Jidhr at one point. "Should we start walking back over to the others?" He asked quietly.

Jidhr looked down the beach, looking at the small figures that were Raena, Elysia, and Ace. "Maybe. It's not late." He turned back to Finch. "Do you want to?"

Finch looked back at all of them then back to Jidhr. "Not currently."

"Okay. We can keep walking then," Jidhr said with a small smile, picking up another shell - this one a lightning whelk, its shape and stripes just as sharp as its name.

Finch nodded and kept walking with him.

Elyisia picked up "hello?…at the beach with the others…right now?…but I dont want to!…fine dont touch my drawing pad." She muttered and ended the call "mom says to head home with you guys so the ceremony thingy can start

Jidhr was silent for a moment, glancing at Finch from time to time. The sun was just starting to set, its rays bright against the beach. He blinked for a second, that same voice thinking his hair was pretty when the sun shone on it.

"Yeah - yes, thank you, mother," Raena sighed into her phone before hanging up. "Wonderful," she said sarcastically.

Finch glanced at Jidhr as they walked. He didn't want him to know he was looking over as they walked.

Eventually, Jidhr reached back into his pocket and pulled out the junonia shard, holding it out to Finch. "Keep it. They're rare."

Finch looked at it. "Then why don't you keep it? You found it after all." He replied.

"I have a couple more pieces in my room," Jidhr admitted, smiling a little. "I'm assuming you don't have any."

"No I admittedly don't." Finch said and smiled. "Are you sure you want to give it to me?"

Jidhr nodded. "Of course I am. It's yours now."

"Fine." Finch said and took it. "Thanks…"

"You're welcome. They usually come up in the mornings, I didn't think I would ever see one this late," He admitted, smiling.

"Interesting." Finch said and looked at it in his hand as they kept walking.

Jidhr blinked for a moment, pushing away a small, barely even audible thought that said hold his hand.

Finch put it in his pocket and smiled at Jidhr. Yeah… He might like Jidhr. No he would never admit it.

Cas sighed, "Well blissfulness never lasts long anyway." She picked up her flute case and waited for the others to be ready to leave.

"Meet you all back at my house?" Eliysia asked

Cas looked down at her dripping clothes, "Ya that sounds like a good Idea, I'm going to have to change for some strange reason." She threw a pointed look at Ace. "See you soon then!" She turned to walk home.

"Adios!" She called and shook her hair. Turning back to Raena, she gestured to her bike "shall we?"

Raena sighed, following her and running a hand through her hair. "I suppose we shall."

(i’m sorry i haven’t replied in a while, i went to camp and they didn’t have any service)

“Let me walk you home to make up for it,” Ace jogged over to Cas while waving a quick goodbye to the others. He and Cas only lived about two houses from each other, so it wasn’t a big deal.
