Kova played the last note on her keyboard and hit the pause button on the camera. "That was great guys! I'll edit the video and we can head home for the day, unless you guys want to crash here?" She asked, plugging the camera to her laptop.

Laura sat in the same corner she always did when the band filmed a new video. She looked up quickly when she heard Kova speak. "I need to get home," she spoke up quietly.

"Do you want a ride or do you have one?" She asked

"I can walk," she whispered , brushing her hair behind her ear slowly.

Acacia stretched with a slight yawn, "I can drive you. I'm heading home as well."

"It's okay," she softly declined. "I prefer to walk."

"Okay then," Acacia looked to Kova, "I can stay a little while if that's cool. Since Laura doesn't want a ride."

Kova nodded "it's only 9, we can watch a movie if you guys want." She said clicking the upload button "and I uploaded our song to the channel, tell me what you think." She said, leaning back, into her chair

Laura stood up quickly. "It's 9?!"

"Yeah," Acacia confirmed checking her phone, "Time flies by when your having fun."

"I really have to get home! Sorry guys, I have to go," she said packing up her stuff quickly.

Kova looked at her weirdly then shook her head and turned to the others, "so, movie?"

Laura rushed to pack her things into her small backpack. It had been the same backpack she'd had for six years…

Acacia watched Laura curiously, but the girl had done this before. She drawled slightly, "Yeaaaaah. Movie sounds great."

"Can't." Melody said, shaking her head as she grabbed her bag and stuck her guitar back in it's case. "Picking up Matty from soccer, and it's my turn to make dinner."

Laura hitched her backpack up. She needed to run. "Bye," she said quietly.

"Perfecto, leta choose one and start!" She cheered and opened Netflix

Laura quietly headed up the stairs. She was incredibly worried about what would await her when she got home.

Acacia grinned and thought for a moment, “Animated or live action?”
