"Depends, what are you going to choose?" She asked
"Depends, what are you going to choose?" She asked
"I was thinking something from Disney," Acacia responded, "I believe they're on Netflix right?"
(Idk lmao I dont have netflix)
Kova nodded "yeah, just search Disney and it should appear." She said, grabbing the bag of popcorn.
(Me neither bruh XD)
Acacia searched up Disney and watched as the different movies showed up, "Which one are you in the mood for?'
"How about something funny? I dont want to cry on the last day before break ends." She muttered
"Okay," Acacia thought for a second, "How about Moana?"
"Perfect!" She smiled and tossed a small handful of popcorn into her mouth.
Acacia pulled it up and grinned, "Great. Now hand me some popcorn and we can get this movie party started!"
(Time skip to morning?)
(Sure, why not?)
Early in the morning, alongside the bird calls and wind, the sound of a groaning teenager could be heard. Kova squinted and looked at the clock before rubbing her sore neck, it seems she fell asleep on the beanbag. She sighed and checked her phone for messages and smiled at her father's name illuminating her face. She looked at the time 6:45 and groaned too damn early in the morning. she thought a d left to go wash her face.
Acacia had gone home right after the movie ended. Kova had been asleep at that point and Acacia had been pretty close to sleep. Was it a bit risky? Just a tad. Did she not die? Yes, she was very much alive and grumpy. Her alarm clock had gone off at around 6 because of school that's why.
After doing her morning routine, Kova just sat on her bed and contemplated making her bed. Sighing, she got up and quickly texted 'Good Morning!' To her friends. She made her bed and came downstairs to see her mom making pancakes. "Heyo." She called
'Morning!' Acacia texted Kova back as she ate breakfast alone at the kitchen bar.
Melody had been up the entire night. Not a great choice, with school and a date the next night, but she had been inspired. And when creativity struck, you were supposed to follow, right?
''sup brosita one and two. can anyone tell me what the color of that one fruit they make wine out of is?'
In her defense, nonstop work for hours tended to do that to her brain.
'Purple and it's called a grape' Acacia offered Melody, 'Also why are we broista's?'
'the feminine form of brosito, duh.' Melody shot back, letting out a 'whoop' that earned her a thud against the wall from the bedroom next to hers. 'also, ur my favorite person of the day'
'Because I told you what a grape was?' Acacia sent with a slight snort.
'yuppers. i have high standards.' This was a prime example of it being hard to tell whether Melody was serious or not, over text being even worse.
'…Okay' Acacia shrugged finishing up her cereal and then slid on her leather jacket.
Laura woke with a start, curled into a tight ball on her bed. Her body ached, but she ignored it. She remained dead silent to make sure he was either still sleeping or gone.
Kova sent a crying laughing face over text and finished her last bite of pancakes 'meet you guys at school?'
Laura's phone automatically turned off Do Not Disturb, and the chime rang loudly. She jumped and grabbed the device quickly.
'Yep, on my way if anyone needs a ride' Acacia sent before putting on her helmet and walked up to her motorbike.
Laura texted carefully. 'I'm going to be late, don't wait for me' she sent.
Kova looked at the texts and nodded 'alright. I'm heading out' she replied and started her bike up. Revving the engine, she grinned and zoomed down the road, weaving between cars
Laura didn't bother changing out of the clothes she'd worn yesterday as she crept out of her room. Her escape was near.
Acacia sped off from the mansion and its park way down to the main road leaving what was known in town as 'Richest Peaks'. She lived a fair ways away and had to get up early in order to go to school at her leisurely pace. It was fine though, if she was running late she could just break the speed limit a little.
Laura slipped out the front door, hitched her backpack up on her shoulders and took off running the second she left the property.
Kova stopped at her favoure coffee shop to grab coffee and a bagel before leaving to the school. She parked her bike a d hung her helmet on the handle before grabbing her bag and heading inside, to her photography class
