"Morning handsome. Did you manage to sleep alright last night?" Not like I'd know anything about sleeping last night.

"A little, thanks to your singing." he says softly, kissing her cheek. He looked exhausted, but he was extremely twitchy.

"Aww, I'm glad my cat screeching somehow managed to help you sleep." She giggled. "You look a little…twitchy. Is everything alright?"

He looks up then nods. "Yeah. I get twitchy after not enough sleep. But I can't really sleep right about now." He looked over at Alyssa and sighed softly.

"I heard her crying earlier. Is she okay?" She squeezed his hand lightly. She was worried about her, definitely.

Her fiancé broke up with her." He said quietly. "Said he found someone else and didn't want her anymore." Ace looked angry, but to tired to do anything about it.

She frowned. "Poor Alyssa. She's such a kind soul, she doesn't deserve something like that. But if he decided to throw her away, then he never deserved her in the first place."

Ace nods and squeezes Becca's hand. "I hated him. He was a jackass towards her. He only wanted her because of her money." He mutters quietly. He sighed and shook his head.

She huffed quietly. "I hate that. You give someone your entire heart and then they just think it's a plaything. Like, my heart is made of glass and if you drop it like you so often do, it will shatter. So please be careful with it."

He looked at her and kissed her hand. "I'll make sure not to." he says gently with a soft smile. "After all, I gave you mine."

"Be especially careful with mine. It already has plenty of cracks and scratches. Too much more and it'll be broken beyond repair." She chuckled softly.

Ace nodded. "Yes, my lady." He mutters, kissing her hand and smiled softly. He rested his head on her bed and sighed softly as he shut his eyes. His hand held tightly onto hers.

She brushed his hair out of his face. "Get some sleep, love. You need it." She kissed his cheek lightly.

He nodded and kissed her cheek, settling down. Ace let out a content sigh, nuzzling into the bed.

"I love you." She whispered softly, watching him with a content smile. If only this wasn't happening in the hospital, maybe she'd enjoy it more.

"I love you too." He replies quietly, gazing up at her gently. A small smile graced his lips. He shuts his eyes and gives off a small sigh, a piece of hair falling into his face.

She brushed the hair back, still watching him. She wouldn't take her eyes off him until he fell asleep. She just wanted to make sure that he'd be okay.

He slowly fell asleep, soft breaths leaving his lips as he snoozed. He looked exhausted, his face less then peaceful but slowly easing.

She hummed softly as he slept, leaning back and staring at the ceiling. She probably wouldn't sleep for another couple days but at least he was alright.

She just laid there, humming softly. Well, that was until something didn't feel right. Her chest got tighter, it was hard to breathe. She gasped for air, starting to panic. Three nurses rushed in as her monitor started beeping off the hook. She couldn't quite hear what they were saying since their voices were all muddled but she was able to make out a couple words. Something went wrong. Something wasn't right. Something was broken within her. Before she could figure out what was happening, everything familiar was ripped away from her and she was pulled into the ICU for an emergency fix. The nurses left Ace on the hard plastic chairs next to where her bed had been.

Ace had fought against the doctors to get to her to the point where they had to knock him out. Alyssa was talking with one of the nurses outside of Becca's room, her voice laced with worry, her hands twitching and fumbling in fear. When all was fake care of she walked to her brother's collapsed body and sobbed into her hand. She was scared for Ace, Becca, and she had been through hell.

Breathing was only getting harder to do, something was seriously wrong. And she had no idea what it was. Her mind was racing with thoughts until it became too much and she blacked out. The only thing she heard before she passed out was this, her life was in serious danger. If this didn't get fixed, she could be killed by it.
