Well… despite the odds, 7 didn’t win a single time. 9 and 6 won tho, and both times the same people had betted for it so they won a lot of candy… We got 3 candies to start with and I ended up with 1 left… at least it was a delicious candy!

I don’t think that they are any special… I’m not sure what it’s called but the closest translation I found was caramel candys in different flavors

Okay cool :)
Are you done for the day or will you have more classes later?

I’m done yay

Yay I just held a presentation in english in front of my class and for once I wasn’t even nervous and it actually went really well so hopefully that could raise my grades a bit to maybe an A

@cue-nervous-humming

Pretty good so far. I have today off, so I slept in and visited a friend. But now i have to clean my room so the afternoon won't be as fun i guess…

Music is the solution. It's always the soultion. I could clean an entire house if I only had some music to listen to…
I still have class, and after that I'm gonna go over to my grandma to try on a dress she's sewing to me, and then I'm gonna have to go to a confirmation meeting at church…

@cue-nervous-humming

True, music makes everything better. What songs have been stuck in your head over the last week?
And that's so cool that your grandma sews well enough to make you a whole dress!! Hope you enjoy the afternoon!

Good question… ”Cake by The Ocean” by DNCE has been totally stuck, and so has ”Flowerchild” and ”Better” by Takida been as well… How about you?
My grandma loves to sew, so she does it quite a lot. I sew well enough to make a dress too lol I am currently making a blue and white checked dress with an open back that I am going to wear to the end of school (I think it’s called Speech-day?)

@ninja_violinist

Honestly though! Sewing is one of those things that confuse and lowkey terrify me and I have massive respect for anyone who can do it

Deleted user

Well thank you! We have classes on sewing in school, don’t you guys have that?

Deleted user

Nice! I am actually sewing that dress for class… it’s turning out pretty good!

@cue-nervous-humming

Nope never had any classes on sewing at my school… At least not in the years i attended. Mom taught me a little bit at some point, but I'd say the difference between being able to hem a dishtowel and making a whole dress is pretty huge…

Deleted user

Yep! I’ll remember to contact you if I ever need a professionally sewn dishtowel haha

@cue-nervous-humming

Better not seeing as i have limited access to cloth and threads but yeah, it's the thought that counts…
What other cool classes do you have if you learn stuff like sewing at school?
