"So I just….track everything I own?" She wrinkled her nose, shaking her head. "That'd only be worth it for bigger, more important things. My phone, maybe." She grinned, eyes sparking playfully. "Or you."

Deleted user

"And that," he said, nudging her with his foot, "Is why I refuse to fall asleep in your lab."

Deleted user

"When would you ever need to track me?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as he crossed his arms.

Deleted user

"I doubt you care that much," he said, an amused grin on his face. "You'd worry for a day, then find someone else to toy with and forget all about me."

Deleted user

"I wouldn't blame you, to be honest," he said, shrugging. "I mean, you're the daughter of Tony Stark. I'm some random guy who's the son of a mass murderer who doesn't feel compassion. You could do a lot better."

@croccin-champagne

"And what if…what if that's perfect for me?" She asked, searching his face. "Consider for a second that our parents have nothing to do with this, at all."

Deleted user

"By definition, a sociopath have horrible friendships. We don't feel anything, man." Although it seems to be changing for the better, he thought, frowning slightly. He wasn't really sure what he felt.

@croccin-champagne

"So? I can feel enough for the both of us." She said, leaning back as she fiddled with her dog tags. "You can keep trying to scare me away, but it's not going to work."

Deleted user

"It's gonna end up badly for you, Pegs," he said as the doors of the elevator opened, greeting them to the sight of a greasy-looking main lobby. He got up from the wall, their arms gently grazing each other as he walked by. "Trust me."

@croccin-champagne

"That's my problem to deal with, if it comes to that." She said, shaking her head as she pushed off the wall and followed him. "Which, I highly doubt it will."

Deleted user

"It will," he said, waving at the male receptionist behind the chipped wooden desk, who responded with an emphatic double middle finder. Klaus only grinned in response as they walked out of the lobby.

@croccin-champagne

"Negative Nancy." She said, a repeat of earlier. She looked over at him, sighing sadly, before looking forward once more. "Any chance we can move to a lighter topic? One that doesn't make me want to give you a hug and never let go of you?"

Deleted user

"That would be a bit awkward in public," he admitted, squinting as he walked into the bright sunlight. "Well, I never have much to talk about, anyways. I just kinda listen to whatever you want to ramble about."

@croccin-champagne

"Media fodder." She said immediately, huffing a laugh. "You really just sit there and listen to me ramble? Doesn't that get boring as hell?"

Deleted user

"If it was anyone else, yeah," he admitted, slipping his hands into his pockets. "Not with you, though."

Deleted user

Klaus shrugged, sparing a glance over at Peggy. "It's all a matter of perspective, I guess."

Deleted user

He shrugged. "I'm not sure if I should be insulted or complimented. Anyways, are we heading in the right direction to the fair?"

@croccin-champagne

"We're taking a left up at this next intersection." She said, switching with the topic easily as she pointed. "It's just a few blocks away."

Deleted user

"Weird how I never heard of it until you told me. How recently did it come?" he asked, scratching the back of his head.

(Should it be a trap?)

@croccin-champagne

((Oooh, I was thinking just a normal street fair, but maybe…what do you think?))

"A couple days ago. I've got this app, that let's me know about events in the city." She said, patting the pocket her phone was in.

Deleted user

(Yessssss, they get to kick ass together for the first time)

It was obvious that something about the whole thing rubbed himm the wrong way, but he pushed those thought aside for Peggy. She wanted to go, so they will go. Simple as that.

Deleted user

"I don't know, man," he said, putting a hand on the spot here his ribs were broken by the puppet. "Things just feel weird, ya know?"

@croccin-champagne

She tilted her head, pursing her lips in thought. "If you don't want to go, we don't have to, you know." She said finally, raising an eyebrow.

Deleted user

"Nononono," he said, shaking his head. "DO not let my unnecessary worrying prevent us from having a good time. No."
