A knock came on the door of the Observatory. Hinata cursed silently, then climbed out of her seat. She put up walls of energy, keeping others from being able to look. If they had tried, however, they would have heard Hinata quietly berating someone, then the sound of footsteps echoing away.
The coated figure set the guitar down, keeping the image of the symbol in his mind. He walked to the chemical flask. Looking over it, he saw a note under the flask. He gave it a look through.
You either pick yourself up
Or you let yourself down
Life will always be tough
So who the fuck are you now
Can you do this alone?
Or do you need someone else?
The poem was written with a black pen… below it was an addition to the poem in another handwriting.
I don’t need anyone…
I’ll do it all by myself…
A figure appeared in Hinata’s mind, not of the coated figure who’s outside but of someone else. They had a black hoodie and a pair of ripped jeans on. Having the hood over their head, they walked around.
Hinata cursed, then ushered the girl with her into the closest building. She went up to the newcomer.
"Um, hello?"
The figure looked up… something was similar about the person. Half of their face was burnt, the other half was completely fine. They had Caduceuses in their eyes. When they saw Hinata, they let out a sigh of relief and gave her a soft smile.
“Hello… again”
(I'm drawing a blank. Sorry!)
(HOLY JESUS F@CK DUDE I'm sorry, I'm a forgetful thot who can't remember things to save her life)
Hinata looked them up and down.
"…Cassius?"
(If I’m gonna be honest with you, if I didn’t have a list with me right now I’d forget every character XD also, don’t call yourself a thot)
The hooded figure smiled softly.
“The one and only…”
The Lost Wanderer walked to the room Adara slept in and knocked on the door.
“Are you up yet…?”
"What are you doing here?' Hinata asked. She motioned to a bench, silently asking if he would like to sit down.
Cassius scratched his arm.
“Uh… I… I just want to tell you a thing or two about the Chariot Master. You know, the one who’s basically the combination of Luna, Forest and myself” he claimed.
Hinata nodded, unsure what to say. She chose to not say anything at all.
The Lost Wanderer was unsure of what to do in that situation. He knocked on Adara’s room’s door again.
Adara opened her eyes. "I'm awake," she said. And she had been, for a few hours.
Cassius sighed.
“The Chariot Master is one of the Paladins of the Labyrinth. He’s stronger than the Knights and some of the Viscounts but he’s not very smart. His main attacks are either ramming with full force or grabbing someone with the red strings of mine and doing something to them. He’s not able to utilize all of our abilities to their fullest potential so… you have quite a good chance in beating him. His weak point is not him, it’s the chariot itself. Aim for the wheels” he stated before his body disintegrated again.
The Lost Wanderer opened the door.
“Well we might have to go now, there’s not a lot of time to lose” he said, gesturing Adara to come out of the room.
Hinata watched mutely. She sighed as he disappeared again. She turned to the building, again putting up a wall of energy.
Adara stood quickly. "What's wrong?"
Loki traced the symbol with her finger "what is this?" she said breathlessly
The Lost Wanderer shook his head.
“Nothing happened, I just don’t want to waste a minute in this situation… I hope you understand…” he went and grabbed his cloak.
"Sure." Adara stood, stretched so she nearly bent in half, and then straightened.
The Black Crow symbol on the lid Loki held was imprinted on the lid. It was not really touchable. The paintings in the lid looked as if a professional was the one who drew them. On the corner of the every painting was a date and a signature. The signature was…
C.R.s
The Lost Wanderer opened a portal and stepped through.
“Come on…” he offered Adara a hand.
Loki picked up a painting "these are amazing"
All Lychan could do was stare
Eventually, Hinata dropped the energy wall. Stretching, she walked back to the Observatory.
She took it, and let him lead her through.
Coincidentally, the large painting in the room was in the same style as the painting Loki held up… the eyes of the large painting were… slightly weird.
The Lost Wanderer closed the portal when Adara was through. “Alright… let’s see what we can find. Oh right, keep in mind. Not every item are related to the same story” he added.
"The same story…" Adara trailed off, but shrugged. She went over to the objects.
Loki looked closer at the eyes "They look so out of place here but fitting as well"
