(I mean, THIS is Hinata's vacation, so……………………)
Hinata rushed over, grinning on the inside. Oh god, this brought back memories… She started trying to untangle him.

Hinata rushed over, grinning on the inside. Oh god, this brought back memories… She started trying to untangle him.
(… you have a good point)
Mason finally got out of the wire vines. He landed safely on two feet and brushed himself off a little bit.
“Thanks! Uh, Here to see the Marquess right?” He asked with a soft smile.
(Nearly all of her vacations are like this. And her bosses require she take them so she doesn't get 'burned out.')
"Yes. My name is Hinata." She smiled back. Good god, Mason reminded her so much of someone at the moment.
Mason nervously laughed.
“Uh… unfortunately for you, I don’t have the signing notebook but I guess we can burrow andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s since he didn’t take it with him. His room’s just the one across from mine, I’ll take you in” he said as he grabbed a spare key from his table and walked out the door.
Hinata followed, a grin on her face.
(You should be able to guess where this andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) is now…)
The room’s lights were turned off. Mason turned on the lights to reveal a literal kitchen. There were kitchen equipments around the room, grouped into categories like knives, spoons, forks, etc. Most of the room was white and ridiculously clean for a male’s room. The fridge was still active, Mason took the opportunity to steal two cakes from it, handing one to Hinata.
He then went to the dining table and grabbed what was labelled Signing Notebook.
(Yeah. Mostly. I think.)
Hinata chuckled when he handed her the cake, following him to the table.
Mason got out a pen from his pocket. He opened the notebook and looked for today’s date (Currently 21st December in the Labyrinth).
“Sign here” he handed the pen to Hinata and pointed to a blank space on that specific page.
Hinata signed, the lettering loopy and surprisingly feminine. She turned to Mason.
"That good?"
“Yep” he said, getting the pen back and closed the notebook.
“The door to Marquess’ room is at the end of the hall. Have a nice time with him” he said before taking a huge bite of the cake.
Hinata chuckled.
"I'll be sure to." She moved to leave, stepping into the hallway. She realized she still had the cake, and dug around in her inner pocket, trying to find something to put it in. Finally, she pulled a plastic container big enough to hold the cake. She put it in, smiling the entire time.
The hallway was, as said, full of gears and machinery. There was robot in front of the door to the Marquess’ room. When Hinata stepped close to the door, the robot started to move towards her using its tiny wheels.
“Greetings Visitor! How may I help you?” the robot “said”. There were four options that appeared on the robot’s monitor face.
Visit the Marquess (Unbooked)
Visit the Marquess (Booked)
Ask for Directions
Talk with me (^-^)
(I am so tempted to talk to the robot XD)
Hinata thought for a moment, wondering if she was booked or unbooked.
(The robot’s an adorable little boi XD, you can talk to him later if you’d like to)
Another button appeared between the booked and unbooked button.
Unsure? Click here!
(We're going to do that, it's a must)
Hinata spotted the button, pressing it.
“May I have your name please?” the robot ‘said’ when the monitor turned to a keyboard with some space above it.
Hinata typed her name in, a grin on her face. This was adorable.
“Miss Hinata Hayashi, you were booked. Please enter through the door” the robot rolled out of her way as the lock on the door unlocked. The robot returned to its original place and its monitor went blank but still had a button lit up.
Any problems? was the text in the button.
Hinata stepped too the door, opening it. She stepped in, slipping the cake into her pocket.
(Get ready for what you will find…)
The room was a large room. It represented a church more than anything but the only difference was that most of the furniture there were golden. There were some televisions in stacks beside the doors, they were broken and were all showing statics though no sound was produced. Some animatronics were on the long benches in the room; some looked like humans, some looked like animals and some looked like they belonged in a carnival or a circus. Due to the silence, it’s correct to assume that the Marquess wasn’t in the room yet. There were two doors on the opposite side of the room as well, maybe the Marquess was in there but there wasn’t anything that gave hints.
Hinata looked around quietly, feeling… At home. She smiled. At home, she could often be find in the maintanence room, working on upgrades for her own robots.
"Hello?" She called softly.
“BOO!!” A young male voice sounded from behind Hinata and grabbed both her shoulders as he attempted to scare her.
Hinata jumped slightly. She had not been expecting that. She let out a small squeak.
The young male laughed slightly at Hinata’s response.
“Greetings Balance Keeper” the man said with a soft smile. Half of the man’s face was human while the other half was robotic. His human eye was blue while his robotic eye was red. His clothing were plain, wearing a normal gray hoodie with ripped jeans and black sneakers.
"G-greetings." Hinata chuckled at herself. She was slightly embarrassed by her reaction. Of course, she was slightly on edge after the encounter with Parasitic Host.
“I was the one who invited you here, I am Marquess Karat Landes of the mortal side and the host of Stained Machinery” he gave a small bow and then a clap.
All the robots that were sitting in the room stood up and bowed at Hinata altogether.
“Thank you boys and girls” the marquess turned slightly to say to them as they sat down again.
Hinata bowed to the Marquess.
"It's very nice to meet you." She straightened out, smiling.
“As for what I was going to give you, if Jackal was doing his job correctly, he should’ve told you that I was going to give you… something…” Karat walked to the pedestal on the other end of the room. Every footstep he took echoed throughout the room. He got out palm sized wooden box from the pedestal.
“Wanna take a guess of what this could be?” He giggled slightly. “I’ll give you a hint, it’ll be helpful for your duty as a Balance Keeper”
"Yes, he told me. And…" Hinata thought for a moment.
"I-I have no idea. Most anything could help with my job." She chuckled again.
Karat’s blue eye flashed brightly once.
Joshua… he thought to himself, still smiling to hide the stress he felt after knowing where the energy came from. One of the Marquesses was no longer in the Labyrinth… somewhere else he was.
