Hinata chuckled.
"Well, usually it's my job to integrate with the locals. Of course, this place is pretty cool, when it's not trying to kill you." She smiled, standing up.
"Plus, I've enjoyed my time here, for the most part."
Cassius nodded with a slight laugh.
“Makes sense” he walked over to a vase set on the table near Hinata.
“Well, wanna go meet the Marquess? Oh, also, don’t forget Julian’s souvenir”
Hinata nodded, shipping the keychains into her pocket for later.
"I'm ready."
Cassius picked the flower from the vase and both he and Hinata were back in the Soul Garden. He set the flower down in the flower bed which hosted thousands of them.
Jackal was already waiting outside the Garden, beside him was the rude guest of Julian’s named Mathias.
Cassius turned back into a soul and went back inside Hinata’s body.
I pray my friends never read this they'll take everything out of context XD
Hinata made her way to Jackal and Mathias. She nodded in greeting.
I was thinking the exact same thing… reading that sentence out loud is just…
Jackal turned to her, now with the same pumpkin on his head.
“Quite an early bird aren’t cha?”
Mathias was looking like he went through hell and back. His hair was messy, eyes were half opened and all in all… a mess.
Tolkalee glanced over at Dakota. "Yeah, we're pretty sure of two things. One, an old enemy, that caused more destruction in one day than all of WWII, is back. As in back from the dead. And two, someone else that is even more powerful than your Prince here is, pretty sure that they are pulling the strings behind all of it. Which also means two things. One, there is going to be utter chaos when we get back, and I'm gonna have a hell of a time getting people to listen. And two, we're going to have to make a really dangerous trek into hellish territory."
"Unfortunately, yes." She smiled at Jackal before looking to Mathias. um…
Dakota stopped at one point and focused on one point of what Tolkalee said.
“Stronger than our Prince? You do realize that there are only like… five people stronger than him? One includes the Master, the others are from Heaven and Hell… right…? Or are you telling me that this… whatever person is one of those people…?” He asked, genuinely curious.
Mathias turned away, he was obviously not a morning person. He rubbed his eyes quickly and yawned as he did that.
Jackal laughed at his actions.
“So, ready to go? Mathias’ tagging along ‘cause we’re passing by the Celestial Hall. He’ll be there and after I drop you off, I’ll be there as well” he said to Hinata.
"Yeah, I'm ready. Thanks for telling me." Hinata stuck her hands in her pockets, finding a chocolate bar for later. A pleasant and welcomed surprise.
Jackal started leading her and Mathias towards the Royal Building. Though as mentioned, Mathias went into the Celestial Hall when they passed by.
Arriving at the Royal Building, Jackal began guiding her through the complicated hallways until they reached the Royal Graveyard inside the building. He walked inside with Hinata and pulled a lever. They were both sent to a hallway with cogs, gears, wires, digital text and they were all active.
Jackal pointed her to a board which had names of people.
“You need to visit one of these secretaries before you can go into the Marquess’ room. Don’t worry, these are all pleasant people in their own ways” he stated.
The board :
Mason Ferro : -Active-
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) Carter : Vacation -Inactive-
Liam Specter : -Active-
Paul Attila : -Active-
“Their rooms are over there, you need to contact just one of them” he pointed towards the hallway.
(You wanna take a guess where this andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) went? :P)
"She calls herself a god anyway," Seth said nodding. "And from what I've seen her do, I would guess that yes, she is."
"She is also going to fight me in a death match," Tolkalee said looking at the ground. His fist tightened on his leg as he thought about it.
“Fair enough, I won’t argue until I can see what she can do” Dakota commented.
(Question: how do you freaking always manage to ask these questions when I'm brain dead??? XD)
(BTW, I have to go. Might get Back on..?)
"Oh, she only obliterated an entire galaxy, that's all," bitterness edged at Seth's voice as he spat the words out. As if it had affected him directly.
(I know where andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) went.)
(Okay, sure lol and are you sure?)
Dakota raised a brow.
“Not new but definitely destructive I’ll give you that”
(You know, I hate my parents RN. It was A freaking false alarm…)
(Wait.)
(I'm trying to remember something)
"Thanks." Hinata smiled, moving down the hall. She had decided on Mason, for some reason.
(When parents prank you…)
In the large room with Mason’s name tag up front, it was full of appliances. Several were homemade, some were most likely store bought and there were gears and cogs scattered across the floor in a… strangely, tidy way. A figure was in the middle of the room… and I mean the middle. They were stuck mid-air on a vine of wires. When Hinata entered the room, the figure shouted.
“Uh!! Some Help Please?!” He was struggling to get the wire off their body. He was literally tangled up in them.
"Not saying it's new, just saying she's done it," Seth replied.
(Am I right to assume that he is currently at a war?)
(Uh no, I don’t think going to a war would be classified as Vacation…)
Dakota nodded.
“Sure… fair enough…”
(Whaaaaaaat? You mean that being stressed out, that you and everyone you love and care about might die, and being surrounded by extreme chaos, isn't a vacation?)
Tolkalee suddenly stood up. "We have to go. Now," he looked at Seth. "I would love to stay and help here but we can't. Will you help us get back?" He asked looking to Dakota.
Dakota threw his bouquet upwards and the flowers turned into parts of a portal. The portal was large enough for Tolkalee and Seth to pass through.
“This will lead you to the Central Portal Hall, find your portal home yourself if you can and if possible, come visit once in a while” he said with a soft smile, gesturing them to the portal.
(No… I think you got the definition wrong…)
"I plan to come back here as soon as I'm done, cause I have a bone to pick with a little but called the Chariot master. But currently I don't see him as important as the people back home," Tolkalee said. "Thank you for your help, tell Hinata I said good-bye, and we're out." He stepped through the portal. Seth waited until Tolkalee had stepped through before turning to Dakota.
"Thank you, so much," he said. "Hopefully I'll see you again, just not dead, I disliked being here, dead." He grinned, waved and stepped through the portal.
The portal closed as soon as both of Seth’s legs passed through. On the other side were a tower full of portals which lead to different realms. They were all named and not hard to find. A figure was sitting on a table on the first floor, signing some documents and looked up at Seth and Tolkalee.
“Oh hey you two, going home?” It was Edge, the person who helped Seth get back home before.
(Yeahhhhhhhhhh, pretty sure)
(Okaaaaaay, if you're suuuuuuure.)
"Hey Edge," Seth waved to him. "Yeah we gotta get back and stop a war. Fun things, you know how it is."
Tolkalee didn't say anything but gave Edge a friendly wave.
Edge handed them a key.
“Your portal’s on the fifth floor, put the keys in the basket in the room like last time”
After Dakota left the two, he opened another portal on his own. Someone had called him, and it was an emergency. He stepped through the portal.
Viscounts Isaac and Samuel were also called. They were already together so it wasn’t hard to travel to the place they were called to. They opened a portal and went to… who knows where, together.
Seth nodded. "Thank you again, Edge, See you around." They both took off towards the fifth floor arriving there and finding their door. "This is it," Seth said putting the keys in the basket. The door opened and Seth stepped towards it. Then he stopped and looked back at Tolkalee, who had stopped and was looking back. "Dude, come on."
"Yeah," Tolkalee said after a moment, and they both walked through the doorway in front of them.
Edge nodded when they left.
After sometime, he went into the room which had Htrae as the name tag.
“Visitors…?” A cloaked figure in the room asked.
Edge picked up the key from the basket.
“Who the hell are you?” He turned, asking the figure.
The cloaked figure just grinned at him.
