Kanoa stumbled back, managing to stay up right as she pressed a hand to her temple. Flashes of scenes passed through her mind, almost feeling like memories.

"Stop moming me, I'm fine." Kanoa grumbled, as Kova bustled around the small kitchen area. She was sitting on a chair, something dark and wet and blood-like oozing from a wound on her abdomen. "Start not picking fights with soldiers, and I might." Kova shot back, as Londyn made her way in with a basket full of various supplies. And then it cut off.

Kanoa's eyes shot back open as she shook her head, muttering in a strange mix of languages.
Max knocked louder. “Hello? Anyone home?” he called. He glared at the unyielding door. Maybe his cousin was being overreactive, or maybe they were getting their memories back right now. The thought made him nervous.
Archer looked at Rachel "maybe you go and help? I fell like something horrible is happening."
Rachel nodded and headed off to the dorm, "I have the same feeling. Find the thing and hide it okay?"
"Of course." Archer responded and flew out the open window
Kova winced at the bright light then turned her head, looking at Kanoa "did you…" she triled off, not knowing how to format the question
"What the holy motherfuck." Kanoa said, by way of an answer.
"Kanoa? That's your name right?" She asked tentatively
Rachel walked into the dorm. She made it look as if she was walking to her own dorm room before 'accidently' knocking on the wrong door. She would've knock on her own becausssse someone might be in there changing? That would be the excuse if it came up.
"You shouldn't know that." Kanoa said, gripping her switchblade tightly. There was no threat to stab, but it made her feel better. "And I shouldn't know that your name is Kova."
Max glanced at Rachel. “Hi, so am I right in assuming something went terribly wrong?”
"Not really," Rachel shrugged, "Archer had a bad feeling that's all. I'm here to check everything out."
“Ah, I see,” he replied. If Rachel was going to show up, why did I stop playing video games? he wondered internally.
Kova winced again and grabbed her necklace, pulling it off to use as a whip "how the fuck." She simply said, taking a step back
"I'm not worrying about this right now." Kanoa said, shaking her head as she made her way to the door, pulling it open. "Yes?"
Kova clenched her teeth and also made her way to the door. "Who is it?" Shs asked, trying to pretend everything didnt just happen.
Max glanced at Rachel nervously. Crap. His idea just vanished, so he hoped Rachel had one. “…hi,” he said awkwardly.
Rachel looked at them, "Hi. I was just coming to check up on you. Is everything going well?"
"Ok, you did, now please leave." Kova said
"Everything's fine." Kanoa said, shooting Kova a look.
"Did I do something wrong?" Rachel asked false concern washing over her face.
“Yeah, sorry to bother you,” Max added, blushing a bit in embarrassment. “I just wanted to meet some of the new students and welcome them.” His whole face and neck were red. Why couldn’t he have just stayed and played video games instead of make himself look like an idiot?
"No, we are just getting settled in. After a long day of travelling I, for one, am tired and cranky." She muttered
"Oh," Rachel gave them a slight smile, "That makes sense. I'll be in my dorm, it's right next door by the way."
“Bye,” Max added, ready to hightail out of there.
Kanoa gave an obviously fake smile, intentionally fucking with Rachel. "Gotcha."
After the door closed, Kova turned to Kanoa "is it just me or does it seem like they are spying on us?" She asked.
Archer texted Max and Rachel, asking then to come to the beach
"Oh, definitely." Kanoa nodded, raking a hand through her hair.
"Anyways, how thefuck do I know you? And why were we living togather? And why am I craving the beach??" She said. Annoyed
“I guess we go to the beach now?” Max said to Rachel.
