Amber laughed softly with him. Her distract him? Oh, never…
Within about ten minutes, they had pulled up to the building she lived in. As soon as they were parked, she unbuckled and climbed from the car, unable to wait any longer.
"Finally," William breathed the second he got out of the car and locked it, walking over to Amber. "That took ages, didn't it?"
"Longest ten minutes of my life," Amber agreed with a chuckle as she looped her arm through his. She tugged him toward the doors, anxious to get to her home.
William let her tug him along, a smirk on his features.
"Someone's eager~" he teased. "What are you going to do when we're alone, love?"
Amber snorted, rolling her eyes before she turned to her boyfriend with raised eyebrows. "What do you think, dear? Like you said, we're going to make out, and I'm not setting you free until morning."
"I'd say you could keep me however long you want, but then there are our jobs," William shrugged, though her words did cause his heart to skip a beat. "I'm looking forward to having my tongue in your mouth again, Blue."
Amber coughed slightly at his words, still not used to the bluntness they used with each other. She ignored the heat rising to her face and instead smirked back, biting her lip softly before turning around. The action had made him snap before… Would it do so again now?
“Careful there, Blue,” William drawled lazily, hands in his pockets as he continued to walk, facing forward. “The more you try to tease me, the deeper you’ll be digging your hole.”
"Maybe that's my plan," Amber murmured softly without turning back to face him. She stepped through the door of the building, making her way through the lobby and toward the elevator as she spoke. "Rile you up and leave you hanging. Wouldn't be the first time I've done it. And I'm quite sure that it wouldn't be the last, either."
“You mean leave us hanging,” William corrected, eyes going over her, darkening slightly. “But anyway, choose your actions correctly.”
Amber hummed and pressed the button for the elevator. It must have already been on the main floor because the door immediately opened. She stepped inside and pressed the button for the floor she lived on before leaning against the wall and watching William with a half-smirk half-smile. This could be an interesting night…
William leaned against the wall, eyes never leaving Amber.
“That smile on your face,” William tilted his head to the side, “What’s it for, I wonder?”
“I’m happy. Happy people smile, do they not?” Amber chuckled as the doors closed and the elevator started moving upwards.
William walked towards her and pulled her into his arms, her back pressed against his chest. He rested his chin on her shoulder, crossing hands over her stomach. "Well, I'm pleased you're happy, Blue."
Amber hummed, leaning back into him. She tilted her head so that she could press a soft kiss to his cheek. “I’ll always be happy when I’m with you. Unless you do something to upset me, but then it’s on you,” she teased.
"Well, then I'll just kiss you," William shrugged, nuzzling her neck, pressing a lingering kiss to her neck. "You'll stop being angry instantly."
Amber blinked a couple of times at the kiss, feeling the spot heat up where his lips had met her skin. “Unless I’m too upset to let you kiss me…” she murmured.
William kissed the skin again, letting his mouth stay in contact. "Then I'll do something else to distract you."
“Will…” Amber muttered, biting her lip as he kissed her again. “And what— what would that be?”
William moved up, kissing beneath her ear, smirking when he felt her skin heat up under him. "Well, we'll see now, won't we?"
Amber hummed as he kissed her again, her eyes closing right before the elevator dinged. She opened then just as the door opened and, albeit reluctantly, pulled away from William. “C’mon, dear, let’s get to my apartment.”
William let her go and stepped out with her, wondering why it was taking too long.
"210B," William murmured as he followed after Amber, lingering extremely close to her.
They walked down the hall to a room at the end of the it. Amber dug through her purse for her keys, unlocking the door as soon as she pulled them out. When it was unlocked, she pushed it open, pulled William inside with her, and closed it by leaning back against it.
"And now we're finally alone," she breathed, looking up at him as she bit her lip.
William leaned closer, mouth barely inches away from hers, eyes closed slightly.
"So it seems…" he murmured, eyes falling to her lips. "What do we do now that we're alone, I wonder?"
Amber hummed, her gaze traveling over his face before landing on his lips. She ran her tongue over her own, teasing him. “Well, we could go cuddle and watch a movie together… Or you could kiss me like you promised…” she murmured.
William’s eyes darkened when she licked her lips and it took quite a lot to not kiss her breathless. He held himself back. “But what do you want, Blue?”
“What do you think, Will? I was the one who pulled you out of my work so you would kiss me. Do you think I don’t want to kiss you now?” Amber questioned, wrapping her arms around his neck to pull him closer.
“Maybe I want to hear you say it,” William murmured, mouth hovering over hers. “So I can decide whether I should comply or not.”
Amber narrowed her eyes at him, chewing on her lip for a moment. “Fine… Then kiss me, William. Kiss me breathless to make up for the years we were apart.”
William shot her a breathless smirk.
“Hmm…” William brushed his mouth against hers. “Should I?”
