Pine signaled to the driver to take a side road out of the city. Within five minutes the noise and energy had died down and they were surrounded by a huge, cool meadow of grass. Pine relaxed marginally.

Lotus let out a slight breath and felt her illusion almost slip from her grip before pulling it back up. She hoped Pine hadn't noticed that.

Pine turned back to Lotus, eyes narrowing at her expression. "Do you want to stop for a moment?"

Lotus nodded and looked out to the open area, "That would be nice yes."

The carriage stopped and Pine ducked out to open the door for Lotus, running a hand through his hair. He took a deep breath of fresh air and sat down in the grass. "Stay as long as you want."

Lotus nodded once more politely before calmly walking off to find a more private area where she wouldn't be seen. Once there she let out a slow breath and felt her illusion release while it began to take the physical toll on her body. She became extremely tired, but figured she could take a nap without the illusion on. Just to keep her energy up for the rest of the journey. Yes, that sounded nice. The princess slowly drifted off to sleep.
