Should I be starting a new RP? Probably not. Am I gonna do it anyway? Heck yeah I am.
This is a lgbtq+ summer camp where parents send their children to be "corrected", that is actually a safe haven for lgbtq+ youths. The kids don't know what the camp actually is until they get on the bus. As they get to camp they are asked their preferred pronouns and names. They are housed with the gender they identify as. There is a camp "store" where the kids can get clothing that matches their gender identity. Cis girls help trans girls do their makeup. Trans boys learn to bind safely. Counselors share positive coming out stories around the campfire. Kids learn to include their pronouns when introducing themselves.
These kids come to camp scared, hurt, and alone with no one to turn to and leave loving themselves, with the best support network they could possibly have.

Disclaimer: I do not know a lot about the transgender community because, well, I am cisgender. If I get anything wrong about any gender or sexuality things, please please correct me. Thank you

(Alrighty. Thank you, Moxie! May my character be a counselor or do you want me to just stick with making a teen? Cuz I'm fine with either.)
Could my character be a teen please?)
(I have the same question as Red. I’d like to be a councelor but a teen would be cool too.)
(Counselor is totally fine! Tbh I was afraid no one would want to be a counselor, so yeah go for it!)
As long as you write more than one line and use proper grammar, yes
DID I HEAR LGBTQ+ CAMP THINGS? I would love to join this, I have a very gay boi.
Yay! I haven't seen you RP tho, would you mind giving me an example of your writing? Thank youuu :)
Yep, here’s an example I copied.
Sophie swam through the thick bushes, still looking for her buddy Roze who lost herself in the forest. She pushed through, finally making it to the other side, sliding out the bushes while landing on the ground with a loud thud. She picked herself up and brushed her bleeding face with her hand, and began to walk around.
“Roze? Where are you?” She began to grow sour, knowing that this might be a waste of her time. “Come on out Roze, I don’t have all day…”
She dug through the other bushes eventually finding a trail of raw steak pieces. Aha! Found you! She followed the path with extreme caution, just in case she found another wolf. She eventually found a tree, it had two raw steaks infront of it, and underneath the branches, was a red wolf. Sophie ran up to the wolf and picked it up.
“You idiot, don’t run away again…” Sophie laughed off her fear, petting Roze.
Roze smiled and cuddled up against Sophie’s chest. “I’m sorry…”
(velociraptor noises)

You're good! Please, come join! And thank you for entertaining my request

I thinkkkk that'll be the cap on counselors unless someone really wants to
(I have a question. Can we make both a counselor and a teen? I don't think I'll be able to pull it off myself but just asking in case others were wondering the same.)
((is my character Court okay?

Name: Bailey Pesca
Age: 16
Gender: Pretty much female
Pronouns: She/her, they/them
Sexuality/Romantic Attraction: Bisexual
Role: Camper
Personality: Mostly introverted. Doesn’t talk much of she doesn’t know you but she doesn’t shut up around her friends. Even then, she’s still pretty quiet. She worries a lot and has major trust issues. Observes. Likes to figure people out and why they do things. Tries to help people. Can not sit normally in a chair to save her damn life.
Appearance: Tanned skin, wide nose, slightly almond-shaped eyes, wide lips. Short, light golden-brown hair that is slightly curly. Short, heart-shaped face. Subtle freckles. Medium height. Curvy.
Clothing/General Style: Layers. Tank tops or long sleeve shirts under flannels under a green cotton bomber jacket. High top converse and high socks.
Backstory: She knew her parents wouldn't be accepting of her so she tried to keep her bisexuality a secret as much as she could. She wasn't out to anyone at school except her two closest friends. She came out to her first boyfriend after they had been dating a year and he . . . didn't take it the best. He didn't tell her parents but he did break up with her and sent one last text saying that it isn't a real thing. Her mom read the text before she could delete it and freaked out. She took her to a lot of people from their church so they could pray for her. Other than that she was pretty normal until she told Bailey she was going to this camp. Bailey is terrified of going. She doesn't actually know there's a name for what she is feeling, she just knows she likes boys and girls. She has gone to a Christian private school her entire life and her mom is very overprotective and doesn't tell her anything, so she doesn't have any words to describe what she is feeling.
Where they're from: California
Other: Likes swimming and surfing, doesn't get to do them a lot
