“Well, you did, so you must have been tired,” Kasey said, smiling over at him before she sat up and started to run the brush through her wet hair. “Did you want to shower now? Since I’m done.”
“Well, you did, so you must have been tired,” Kasey said, smiling over at him before she sat up and started to run the brush through her wet hair. “Did you want to shower now? Since I’m done.”
“Sure,” Barry agreed sleepily, scratching a little at his scalp. He forced himself to roll out of bed and ended up in an undignified heap on the floor.
Kasey clapped a hand over her mouth and held back a laugh. “Barr… Gosh, are you okay?” she mumbled around her hand.
“Don’t want to move…” he groaned, curling up into a little ball on the floor. “I’ll just sleep here…”
"Babe… You can't just sleep on the floor like that," Kasey chuckled softly. "You'll hurt yourself sleeping on such a hard surface."
“You can’t make me get up…” he grumbled, turning over so he was face down.
Kasey raised an eyebrow, setting her hairbrush down when she'd finished brushing her hair.
"I'm sure I could find a way…" she mused with a slight blush and walked over to sit on the ground beside him.
“Try me..” he muttered, stifling yet another yawn. “Bet you can’t.”
"Hm… I bet I could," Kasey chuckled softly, laying down beside him so that their faces were barely an inch apart.
Barry, who’s face was buried in the carpet, didn’t notice his girlfriend’s proximity. “Nope…”
Kasey leaned closer and gently blew in his ear. "Are you sure…?" she murmured softly, keeping close to him.
“That tickles..” he complained, still refusing to look up.
Kasey huffed and pushed herself up. "You're impossible sometimes," she declared rolling her eyes good-naturedly. She laughed to herself before moving to sit down on his back, her legs off to one side.
Barry’s head turned abruptly as he tried to get a good look at her from over his shoulder. “Kasey!”
“What?” Kasey asked, giving him an innocent smile. “You weren’t getting up, anyway, so figured I may as well help you stay down.”
“Hilarious…” he grumbled, head falling flat.
"You should get up. If you don't, then you don't get the breakfast I'm planning on making," Kasey declared, moving so that she was laying on him the long way, their backs pressed together.
“This is blackmail,” Barry complained, though his heart tattoo flashed briefly pink.
Kasey chuckled softly and let her head fall from his shoulder to beside his head. “Hardly,” she said softly, smiling over at him. “This is just me getting to tease my boyfriend successfully for the first time in… a while.”
“I’m going to get my revenge for this…” he muttered, burying his face in the carpet once more.
Kasey pouted a little and lightly kissed the side of his head. “That’s no fair. Why can you tease me without repercussions, but I can’t tease you back?”
“Well, you never give me any repercussions,” he pointed out, leaning into her touch.
“I’m always too flustered to do anything,” Kasey chuckled softly, rolling off of him to lay on the ground beside him.
"I know, that's what I'm trying to do," Barry managed to chuckled, relaxing more now that her weight wasn't sinking into him.
“Well, I have no idea how to fluster you, so I don’t think that’s fair,” Kasey argued playfully, resting her chin in her hand and looking over at him.
"You'll learn," he teased lightly, letting his eyes fall shut once more.
Kasey sighed and poked his cheek. “Go shower. The sooner you’re done, the sooner you can join me in the kitchen. And pay attention to me.”
"Fiiiiiiine," he groaned, rolling over onto his back and intentionally squishing Kasey in the process.
“Hey!” Kasey squeaked out in surprise before laughing a little. “That’s no fair! You’re heavy.”
"And you're comfortable," Barry muttered, refusing to budge.
