"Or Taylor-Lawrence. Or Lawrence-Taylor," he hummed happily, failing to stifle his enormous grin. "Or you could keep Taylor. Whatever you want to do."

Kasey shook her head, a determined smile set on her lips. “No. I want Lawrence. Unless… you don’t want me to?”

"Of course I do," Barry answered happily, "To have my last name become ours? It's heaven to think about."

“Barry and Kasey Lawrence…” Kasey sighed lightly. “Gosh, it’s like a dream. A dream come true.”

Barry's cheeks flushed pink. "Our dream come true."

“Our amazing dream,” Kasey breathed, smiling up at him softly.

When the newly engaged couple arrived st their apartment, Kasey immediately went over to the bedroom as soon as she had taken her shoes off. “C’mon, slow poke!” she called back to Barry with a laugh.

Barry chuckled at his girlfriend's—fiancée's—antics, but did as she said, slipping his shoes from his feet and crossing the apartment to where she was waiting. "You're in a rush, hm?"

“Yes! I want to cuddle because I’m insanely excited and really hyper from all the sugar in our dessert,” Kasey laughed, taking a deep breath to try and calm herself.

A laugh tumbled from Barry's lips. "Of course," he murmured, seating himself on the edge of the bed. "Is that the… only reason you're so excited?"

Kasey plopped down on the bed beside him with a long sigh. “No. No, I’m so excited that we’re actually engaged. And I don’t know how to put my excitement into words,” she explained with a breathless grin, having not taken a break to breathe.

A mischievous smile overtook Barry’s lips. In less than a second, he had Kasey pinned against the bed beneath him, their mouths inches apart. “Then don’t put it into words,” he grinned, “Show me~”

Kasey gasped in shock when she was suddenly flipped over, her heart skipping beat when she notices the look in Barry's eyes. She felt her heart racing as she looked up at him, her breathing heavier than normal. She blinked a couple of times before letting a smile take over her lips again.

"That I can do…" she whispered before pressing herself up against him and connecting their lips.

Barry placed his forearms flat on either side of Kasey’s head, moving his mouth in perfect sync with hers. “Good…”

Kasey hummed a response, not really paying attention to words at the moment. Now, she was just focused on her boyfr— fiancé's mouth on her own.

She slowly, carefully, wrapped her arms around his neck, tugging him down slightly closer. One of her hands found is way into his hair, which she ran her fingers through.

Barry slipped his tongue over Kasey’s lower lip as if asking permission, trying to figure out which boundaries she wanted to set. He didn’t want much other than kissing and getting lost in the heat of the moment, but he didn’t want her to be uncomfortable..

Kasey let her lips part in silent invitation. She was okay with whatever he wanted to do at the moment, still ecstatic from his proposal. Though, she still had the one boundary that she knew he wouldn't cross. Not unless she told him he could. And she was ever thankful for that.

Barry’s lips twisted into a grin against Kasey’s as he slipped his tongue into her mouth, releasing a soft groan.

Kasey shivered slightly at the sound. She let out a soft one of her own as she felt him enter her mouth, her grip on his hair tightening slightly.

The kiss was passionate but slow, lacking desperation. Instead, it was filled by a sleepy sort of tenderness, a need to feel the other. Barry tilted his head slightly, seeking more access.

Kasey let herself fully relax into this kiss, letting herself get swept away by this amazing man above her. She could just sit with him in perfect silence for hours, not really caring what was gong on around her.

Eventually, Barry pulled away, panting softly as he looked down on his fiancée with adoration. “You’re amazing…” he murmured, cupping her cheek with one hand.

Kasey moved her arms from around his neck to wrap them around his chest, tugging him closer. She blinked her eyes open with a soft smile up at her fiancé.

"Not as amazing as you are," she breathed.

He pressed their foreheads together, giving a slight shake of his head. “No way.”

“It’s true,” Kasey insisted, bumping their noses together. “You’re amazing, love.”

A cheeky grin made its way onto Barry’s lips. “If I kiss you hard enough, will you stop arguing?”

Kasey blinked a couple of times, her cheeks turning bright red. “Uh. I— I mean, I guess? I’d, um, probably stop thinking for a moment,” she stuttered.
