"Not sure. Maybe I can actually get my essay done."

Sterling clicked his tongue and set the dishes in the sink. “I suppose that would be good. Is there anything you need? I could go out and get it for you.”

"You're my boyfriend, not my servant. I'm fine."

“Yeah, but I need to do something. And it’s not being a servant if I offer,” Sterling said with a shrug.

"No, I've got everything here." She smiled a little.

Sterling hummed and looked over at her. "Well, then… I suppose I should go get some of my things if I'm going to be spending the night again."

"You don't have to. You can go tell your parents that you're home."

"What? No, I don't mind. Unless you didn't want me to?" Sterling wondered, raising an eyebrow at her.

"No, no, no that's not what I'm saying at all!" She threw her hands up defensively. "I'm just saying if you wanted to."

“Well… I would like to stay here with you,” Sterling said, giving her a small smile. “If that’s okay with you, of course.”

"I'd like that." She smiled sweetly.

Sterling grinned at her and walked over to kiss her softly. “Good. I’d like it, too.”

"You know, usually a girl doesn't want to meet her boyfriend's parents because she's scared they won't like her. And while that's true for me, it's also the fact that I'm going to feel bad about this place cause I'm dating a rich kid." She chuckled.

"Pft, it's fine. It's nice here. Cozy. I like it," Sterling said with a shrug.

"Kinda small but it was all that I could afford at the time and eventually the place grew on me."

Steeling hummed, suddenly looking thoughtful. "If you wanted to move, would they outfit your new home with security, too?"

"Well, since Niall is kind of my boss and I refused to go back, he probably told everyone I'd gone rogue and therefore, no."

“Dang… Well… Is there anything you might want around here? Like, for the apartment?”

"No, I got everything. And if I wanted something, I'd get it myself."

Sterling hummed and nodded. “Right. Of course…”

"I said it once, I'll say it again, you're my boyfriend not my servant. I love you because of you, not your ability to get things for me." She chuckled softly.

“Yeah, yeah. I know… I just wanted to know if there was anything you might want…” Sterling trailed off with a shrug.

"Hmm…well maybe there is one thing." She bit back her smile. "But only if you're willing to hear me out."

Sterling raised an eyebrow at her, looking at her curiously. “What is it?”

"It's more for myself but still." She stood, slowly making her way over to him. "What I want is…" She stopped in front of him with a smile. "You." Before he could react, she pulled him down into a kiss.

Sterling chuckled against her lips before he kissed her back. “Now, that is easy for me to do…”

"You did ask." She giggled, pressing closer.

“I am fully aware of that fact,” Sterling murmured before he cupped her face in his hands and deepened the kiss.

She melted into his lips, letting the feeling fry her nerves into submission.

Sterling smirked a bit, then ran his tongue across her lips. He wouldn’t take it very far this time, but he still wanted to kiss her.
