A familiar figure was waiting outside, tapping her foot impatiently. She hopped out, smiling innocently at her boss. "You said 10 minutes." "Traffic was a bitch, okay?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"And who is that?" "That would be my boyfriend." "You have one of those?" "Why does everyone keep saying that? Yes, I do. Sterling, this is Roxanne. My boss. Roxanne, this is Sterling." "Wait…Sterling as in Sterling Ainsley? The son of the business tycoon?" "That's the one." Her eyebrows shot up, glancing between Cass and Sterling. "…How?" "To be honest, I don't really know."

Sterling chuckled and almost wrapped an arm around his girlfriend’s waist before suddenly remembering their deal. Gosh, this was not going well so far…

“He’s actually a lawyer,” he clarified, sticking his hands in his pockets so he wouldn’t touch Cassandra. “And Cass managed to charm me with her humor.”

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"You managed to charm him? Isn't that usually the other way around?" "Surprising yet true." "Well as interesting as this is, you've got a shift to work so let's go." She grabbed Cass's wrist and pulled her inside.

Inside it was jammed. People lined the walls and the floor was absolutely packed. Roxie dragged Cass into a back room filled with lockers with handmade name tags. "You've got maybe 20 minutes so make it snappy."

"Yep! You'll get to meet Angel. You're lucky, I can't tell you how many guys would kill to be the ones back here watching this." She smiled and winked, opening her locker to reveal the white fabric of her costume.

Sterling couldn't help but watch as she changed. It wasn't like it was anything he hadn't seen before, but he was curious about her little "outfit" that she was so excited about.

When she'd finished, he hummed in approval, his eyes skimming over her a few times. He smirked a little and stuck his hands in his pockets, now a little annoyed about their bet.

"Looks good," he murmured lowly. "Kinda want to break that bet we've got, but I won't…"
