"I'm teasing with you, Lucas." Melissa hummed, pecking his lips. "I really don't care. I was just curious." She hummed softly, letting him turn away if he wanted.

Lucas buried his red face in Melissa's shoulder, still whining quietly. "I-I'm sorry… I… I shouldn't have been listening to you, Mel…"

“Hey, it’s fine. I promise you.” Melissa whispered, kissing his head. “It’s not like you were invading my privacy. I was singing, and you could hear me.”

Lucas nodded a bit, still flushed, but gradually relaxing again. "If you say so, Mel…"

“I do, so don’t worry about it.” Melissa hummed softly, starting to lead him on. “If you wanted to hear me sing, you could have asked me.”

"W-Well, I didn't wanna bother you… maybe you wouldn't have wanted to. I don't wanna make you uncomfortable or anything."

“I wouldn’t have minded. I might’ve been a little embarrassed, but I could have managed.” Melissa hummed softly, glancing up at him.

Lucas nodded, slowly emerging from his hiding place. He looked up at Melissa meekly. "I'm sorry…"

“Mm, it’s alright. I love you.” Melissa told him in a soft tone. “You really don’t have to apologize.”

"I love you too, Mel." Lucas kissed Melissa softly and sighed a bit. "Sorry for getting all flustered again."

“It was perfectly reasonable, so don’t apologize.” Melissa chirped, before kissing him back. “You felt bad, it’s alright.”

Lucas nodded, lacing his fingers with Melissa's. "We should head back now."

“Mm, yeah. We should.” Melissa hummed a little, starting to lead him on. “Though can we walk slower? I want to get to savor time.”

"Yeah, of course, Mel." Lucas smiled softly, matching Melissa's pace as they walked.

Sighing softly, Melissa rested her head against him with a sigh. “I really do love you… I’m happy we could be together today.”

"I love you too, Mel. And I've had a great day. Thank you." Lucas gently kissed Melissa's cheek, still smiling.

“Happy to do it, if it makes you happy.” Melissa hummed with a smile. “I love to see you smile.”

Lucas grinned a bit more brightly and hugged Melissa with one arm. "Glad to hear it, love. I like your smile quite a bit as well.

"Mm, I really should smile more often, then." Melissa purred softly, relaxing more when he hugged her. "Though sometimes it just slips my mind."

"Mm… I guess I'll just have to try harder, won't I?" Lucas kissed Melissa's cheek, still smiling.

"Try harder at what?" Seemingly confused, Melissa looked up at him. "I don't understand."

"Making you smile. I gotta try harder so you'll smile more often." Lucas hummed softly to himself.

Melissa felt a smile pull up, and pecked his cheek. "You don't have to do anything." She hummed before resting her head back on his shoulder.

"But I doooo~" Lucas whined playfully. "I wanna see you smile all the time, love."

"Mm, but I don't think that's physically possible." Melissa hummed, keeping up her small smile. "Though if you insist, I'll do my best to keep it easy for you."

Lucas kissed Melissa's cheek, grinning brightly. "Thanks, Mel. I love youuuuu~" He purred.

"Love you tooooo~" Melissa replied in a sing-son tone, smiling lightly. "You're so cute."

"Am not." Lucas whined, pouting playfully. "You're so mean to me, darling. I get no attention ever."

"I mean, I could give you more~" Melissa cooed a little, pecking his lips. "Which includes extra compliments."

"Noooo… I'd malfunction again." Lucas whined, returning the kiss.
