"then you'll take it slow. Let your body get used to it first, instead of shoveling the food in." He insisted gently, watching as Spooks padded over to her food. "You can't go without eating even if you do throw it up." He said, walking over to Simon and crouching a few feet away from him. "Just a little, please?" He pinched his fingers together, leaving a small space between them.

@Fenrir

Razielle sighed softly and stood. "I hate when people say that." He muttered, running a hand through his hair. "Fine. No more 'pretty words' as you say. I'm going to make the soup, you can choose to eat it or continue sulking in the corner." He walked back to the kitchen peeked into the pot. He nodded and started gathering ingrdients for the soup, finding some chicken in the fridge and pulling that out as well to let that thaw. In the mean time he added spices and chicken broth as well as a few chopped vegetables.

Simon let his eyes slip closed, glad to finally be left alone. Curling his fingers into fists, he pressed his head into the floor, to take his mind off the growing feeling in the pit of his stomach.

Once the soup was up to Razielle's standards and simmering away, he went to work on cleaning all the dishes. He picked up the cats bowls and gave them smaller bowls of water while he cleaned their dishes as well. He hummed softly as he cleaned and adjusted the soup, finding some level of peace while working in the kitchen. Occasionally he'd peek into the living room at Simon to make sure he was dead. With a heavy sigh, Razielle silently walked over with a glass of water, some low dosage pain meds he had found in the bathroom, and a trash bin in case Simon decided he needed to throw up again. He quietly set them side the angel and then walked back to the kitchen

Simon opened his eyes. “Thank you,” he said hoarsely. “This whole ordeal is going to bring out my softer side. So you’re going to pretend you didn’t see any of it.”

@Fenrir

"you're welcome." Razielle said softly, a breath of a laugh escaping him. "If this is you're nice side then I'm afraid to see you when you're really mad." Razielle teased lightly, raising his hands up in innocence. "Ah of course, wouldn't want to ruin your bad boy reputation, would we?"

@Fenrir

"I figured that much but somehow I don't think I've seen it all. Not necessarily sure I want to." He he said, finding a cat toy and starting to play with Spooks, moving his hand back and forth to catch her attention, laughing lightly when she caught his hand

@cryptic-glitch

"Oh, I'd gouge your eyes out if you saw it all, never fear," he reassured Razielle. He sat up carefully, ignoring the wrenching pain at his temples. "I might gouge my own eyes out."

@Fenrir

"I'd rather have the gift of sight for as long as possible, thank you." Razielle retorted with a snarky smile, pulling his hand away just as Spooks pounced at his hand. "Ready to eat or are you still going to be a baby about it?" He asked, finding bowls in the cabinets as well as spoons.

@cryptic-glitch

"I am not a baby. I am a sophisticated young adult. And I've already told you. I'm not hungry." Simon shook out his wings and managed to pull himself onto his feet.

@Fenrir

Razielle pressed his lips into a thin line "fine. I can't force you to eat. It'll be here warming on the stove if you want some." He watched as the other stood, praying that he didn't throw up again. "Sophisticated," he laughed softly "not a word I'd use to describe you."

@cryptic-glitch

"Well, then. Mr. Know-It-All. How would you describe me?" He retrieved his toothbrush and hovered over the bathroom sink, scrubbing his teeth and making a half-hearted attempt at untangling his hair with his fingers.

@Fenrir

Razielle tilted his head, leaning against the kitchen counter with Spooks in his arms. "Impulsive." He replied after a moment of silence. "But not in an irrational way. It might look irrational to others who don't know your purpose but you know what you must do in order to get the results you want." He blinked a few times and times and shook himself from the small reverie. "Sorry, too therapist-y?"

@Fenrir

"I'm not trying to." Razielle muttered, setting Spooks down on the counter and took in a deep breath. "I didn't mean to 'dissect' you. I guess it's out of habit."

@cryptic-glitch

"Out of habit. Hm. Alright then." Simon pushed themself up on the counter and drank his water. "What else can you tell about me? On the surface. In a not-therapist-y way."

@Fenrir

He sucked in a breath and shrugged, giving Simon a long look. "You call it therapist-y, I call it intuitive. Probably doesn't help I'm an empath." He bunched his lips to the side and tilted his head "you care. Quite a bit actually." He stated simply, nudging Spook's head. "It may not be in the nice way but you do care about others."

@Fenrir

Razielle's heartbeat kept into his throat "n-now?" He swallowed and took a deep breath, numbly nodding his head "uh, yeah, of course. I just need to make a stop real quick for a change if shoes." He said quickly, trying his best not to sound scared

@Fenrir

Razielle glared up at Simon "yes, of course I'm scared! How does going to Hell not scare you?" He asked, shoving past him to the door. "I need new shoes cuz you emptied your breakfast on the ones I was wearing." He said, opening the door and pointing at the shoes lying next to the door way. He found a towel and gingerly picked them up, quickly walking to the trash and promptly throwing them away.

@cryptic-glitch

"Oh. Right." He tamped down his grin and clipped his keys to his belt loop. "I told you before. Hell isn't scary. You're just a wuss."

@Fenrir

"if it's not so scary then how come people aren't praying and hoping they go there when they die? You never hear a dying soul wishing they'll go to hell." He shook his head in disbelief and followed Jay out if the apartment before making his way out of the building "Hell may not be as bad as everyone has made it out to seem but there must be a reason why you want to go back to heaven and not stay on Earth or in Hell, right? If it was so great then you wouldn't mind staying down there a bit longer."
