A fallen angel happens to glimpse an angel slipping back into Heaven through a portal. They manage to slip through, right before it closes. However, as the fallen aren't supposed to be in heaven, they're hurt by their travel into their previous home. The angel who went through the portal is obligated to take care of this fallen angel, but because the fallen aren't allowed in the Deity's presence, they both have to remain on earth.
While they're stuck together for the allotted time of a week and a half, they find that the Deity is an archangel posing for the Deity, holding Heaven together until the Deity returns.
Our job, as the fallen and the angel, are to somehow find common ground and find this Deity.

I'd like to be the fallen angel, but if you have a strong leaning toward them, I can be the angel. I will also be the rest of the angels, so as to move the story along.

Simon ducked into the alley and shook out his wings. Their last flight had gotten his left wing sprained. Nothing debilitating, but it hurt like hell. They stretched it out, pulling on it slightly to make his joints pop. He sighed and tucked their wings back against his shoulders tightly. His fingers were cold, turning pale in the crisp air, so they pulled them back into his sleeves and shoved them in the pocket on the front of his grey hoodie.

@Fenrir

Raz flicked his hood up over his head, never missing a step as he walked to the beat of the song currently playing on his phone. He curled his wings around him, the soft feathers offering another added layer of warmth. It had suddenly gotten chilly that evening when he had left therapy office he currently workied, having just finished up with his last patient. He had been sent down to Earth temporarily to act as a guardian angel for year and a half now for a few kids that were having a hard time. Now, after a year of helping the kids, it was Raz' time to go back home. It saddened him to leave but he knew it was all for the best. The kids would have a chance now and he could move onto helping more people. He took a deep breath, letting his wings relax and unfurl fully before turning onto a street that led to the sound of the city, inconspicuous and certainly the best place to discreetly dissapear.

@cryptic-glitch

Simon watched the person walk by, his eyes lighting up when he saw their wings unfurl and slipped out of the alley, trailing after them, watching them carefully. His fingertips began to blacken like they had dipped them in ink, the dark coloring spreading in coils up his hand and wrist. Just one touch, he thought. Then I can get back into heaven.

@Fenrir

Raz stopped in front of an abandoned church, it's stained glass windows glinting in the twilight. Raz smiled softly, his wings arching behind him as he readied himself to go home. He had always loved the silver City, Loved how naturally beautiful and calm it was even if his fellow angels did occasionally fight. His Halo flickered to life as he slowly rose up into the air, his wings stirring the dust and air around him as he flew up into the sky. while loved Earth and it's people, he missed home. Razielle laughed softly as a breezed picked up around him, ruffling his hair and feathers, as if guiding him up. "Alright, alright, I'm coming." He reassured, launching into flight, and dancing with the wind as he made his way up to the heavens

@cryptic-glitch

"Oh, no you don't," Simon muttered and jumped into the air, spiraling in a tight circle after the angel. This could be his last chance and he sure as fuck wasn't going to give it up. They stretched out their arm, the black seeping up his forearm now, and could almost, almost reach their ankle. He hissed and tried to go faster, his injured wing protesting.

@Fenrir

Raz' brows knit together as he felt a wave of overwhelming determination wash over him. That wasn't normal, especially not when he was going home. Sure he was determined to go home but not as much as he felt from something else. He glanced around him, looking for a plane or a helicopter, somthing carrying people that could explain the sudden sharpness of emotion but nothing was even remotely close. Razielle slowly glanced down at the Earth beneath him and barely restrained a scream as he saw an angel coming towards him, his wings inky black, his outstretched hand the same color. Razielle almost laughed for ever thinking this angel was determined. No, that wasn't even close. They were Hellbent. Raz had all but a milisecond to arch left and out of the way of the Angel's outstretched hand. If he could get to heaven he'd be able to find help. He glanced over his shoulder, his dread worsening when he saw that the angel still wouldn't relet his chase. He was so close, he just needed to clear the cloud line and he'd be fine. That's all it took, one more good flap of his wings afd he'd be fine

@cryptic-glitch

Simon redoubled his efforts, stretching his wings farther, flapping harder, and reaching for the angel's ankles. He caught a glimpse of the angel's face, stricken with panic. They lunged toward him, managing to get hold of his foot just as he crossed the cloud line. And as Simon crossed the line, searing pain shot through their wings and arms. He tried to scream, but to no avail. Their vision went white.

@Fenrir

A scream tore through the air as Raz's vision went black. He tried his best to push himself forwards, tried to reach the threshold of heaven and Earth. Just a little bit more, please, he needed help. But none came, even as his entire body locked up, then his wings. That combined with the weight of the angel pulled him further away from his home. He shut his eyes as he let gravity take over, letting his limp body hurtle back down towards the Earth. He barely even felt it as they crashed through the ceiling of the church.

@cryptic-glitch

He woke up to a bright light being shone in his eyes, his wrists and ankles tied down. He laid still, squinting against the lights, his skin crawling with the feeling that he wasn't in a place he should be. He wiggled his hands, trying to slip their hands out of the restraints. An angel hovered over him and said, "You shouldn't be here, but we'll do our best to help you."
"Don't touch me," he said, their voice raspy. "Let me go. I don't need you to take care of me."

@Fenrir

Razielle slowly blinked awake, a whimper escaping his lips as he felt a shooting pain through his spine. He inhaled a sharply as he turned to look put the door and almost cried out in relief as he saw angels walking the corridors. "Ah I see you're awake, Razielle." Raz glanced up as an angel walked into the room, much older than Raz but still youthful in his own way. "Cardellian." He whispered, hugging the angel lightly, trying his best not to hurt himself more. "We saw what happened but by the time we could reach you had fallen back down to Earth, what happened?"
Raz shook his head "it's hard to say, one minute I was going back home and then an… Angel with black wings grabbed me and pulled me down. I couldn't move."
Cardellian nodded slowly "are you alright?"
Raz nodded again and gently grabbed the older angel "where is he, I need to see him."
Cardellian shook his head slowly and eased Razielle back into bed "doctors are currently seeing to his condition, you can see him.later once he's well rested."

@cryptic-glitch

The angel blinked, seemingly not expecting Simon's rebellion. "I- I don't know if I'm allowed to do that."
"I didn't ask you if you were allowed to do it. I told you to do it. Now DO IT."
The angel acted startled before obliging and untying him. He immediately leaped up and shoved the angel into the wall, the angel's wings hitting the white structure with a pop and a crack. "Now. Where is the Deity?"
The angel yelped and said, "I don't know! I don't know. Please, don't hurt me. I'm just the doctor. I don't know anything."
Simon scoffed but let the angel crumple to the floor and shook out his wings. They itched. Not a good sign. He looked at them and rage began to boil up inside him. "Those bastards." He stormed down the hall. "You might stoop low, but clipping my wings? Really?"
