"Whatever. What do you want me to do for you, Your Highness? And I'm not a total shitbag, okay? I'm a little bit agitated." Simon glanced at the angel who got him into this mess. "Particularly by you, I'll have you know, you fluffy-haired bitch."

@Fenrir

"me? Says the one who grabbed me, paralyzed me, choked me, and nearly broke my wings!" Razielle shot back, barely restraining himself from slapping the fallen angel. "Then you have the audacity to blame me?" Raz laughed aloud and ran a hand through his hair, not caring that the sudden movement yanked at his wings.
"That's enough, the both of you." Uriel glared at the two of them, his wings ruffling behind him. "Clearly the both of you have an issue, whether it's your fault or yours." He glanced to Simon then to Razielle. "Regardless, I think I've decided what your assignment will be."

@cryptic-glitch

Simon hid a grin, satisfied that they had gotten a rise out of the angel and clasped his hands behind their back, feeling his now complete feathers with relief. "Alright then, pretty boy. Let's hear it."

@Fenrir

Uriel rolled his eyes at Simon and sighed softly "since you cannot stay here due to being a fallen angel, and I cannot send you back to hell, you'll stay on Earth until the Diety is found and can properly deal with you."
Razielle sighed in relief, glad that he didn't need to see Simon ever again.
"And to make sure you don't try anything, Razielle is to stay with you."
"What?!"
Uriel nodded "you and Simon will stay on Earth together, learning from and hopefully grow as angels until Simon's time comes to be tried."

@cryptic-glitch

"I'm starting to rethink my decision. You're making me stay with this. . ." he trailed off, sputtering. "See! This is exactly the sort of thing I'm talking about. What am I going to do with this guy? What am I going to 'try' as you so put it? He's the one that got me into this, what with the restraints and this now with the Deity. I can't even fathom how you think this is going to help."

@Fenrir

Uriel chuckled lightly amused by the two angels "Razielle is a responsible angel. And quite the opposite personality compared to yours Simon. You'll balance each other out, eventually. You can learn a thing or too from each other, I'm sure."
"Yeah, if he can teach me to strangle someone maybe I'll return the favor from earlier." Razielle muttered beneath his breath.
Urielle shook his head with a small smile "you're not allowed to kill each other. If you don't want accept, that's fine, Razielle can stay while you can stay on Earth, with your wings clipped until someone comes to collect you for trial, though I doubt much consideration will be out into it since you've literally done nothing to earn your place back here." Uriel tilted his head innocently and walked off a few feet "your choice to make of course. I'll be near the entrance once you made your decision." He called as he walked off

@cryptic-glitch

"Responsible, my ass." Simon clenched their fists. "I'm going to murder someone. It might be you," he said wrathfully, glaring at the angel. "Razielle, is it? Alright. Look. I'm determined to get back into heaven. So it looks like I'll have to put up with you for a while."

@Fenrir

"I'm half tempted to say no, just so I don't have to see you again." Razielle snarled back "why do you want to come back here so badly anyways?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest and tilting his head "give me one good reason why I should agree to this, and no threats otherwise I decline."

@Fenrir

(thank you for the mention in the appreciation chat! <3 I really like rp-ing with you so far! Thanks for putting up with my spelling errors and grammar mistakesʕº̫͡ºʔ)

@cryptic-glitch

(i love ur writing style and i don't mind the mistakes lmao)
"I was happy here, okay? And then some asshole killed a boy I knew on Earth and framed me for it. You're supposed to be all righteous, yeah? Try and understand this. I didn't do anything. And because Zophiel decided to do something horrible, he blamed it on me. And now my name isn't my name and I'm not supposed to be down there. I can't stand being something I'm not. You of all people should understand that." His voice grew soft. "I'm not looking for sympathy. I just need a favor. I won't bother you, I won't even talk to you."

@Fenrir

(aw thank you!ʕ•ᴥ•ʕº̫͡ºʔ)
Razielle's jaw clenched slightly as he glared away, really not wanting to feel anything towards the angel sympathy or other wise, he just wanted to relax and not worry about this anymore. He glanced up at the mention of Zophiel and tilted his head. He was a well loved angel, one of the favorites of a few of archangels. Personally Razielle couldn't stand him, but he would have never guessed he killed a person, much less blame it on another angel. He lowered his arms from his chest and carefully lowered his hostility.
He took a deep breath and ran a hand through his hair "you've bothered me enough today, a few more days really can't hurt, and it's going to be pretty damn hard getting you back up here to prove your innocence if we don't talk." He sighed softly "so, what would you rather be called, seeing that your name isn't your name."

@cryptic-glitch

"I'm Simon still. You aren't allowed to say my real name. Not until I'm reinstated. It's probably against the law. You'll turn into salt or something else of that variety. Thank you, by the way," he said hesitantly. They unfurled their wings, trying to stretch them out. Finally, there was a satisfying pop, and they let them hang down.

@Fenrir

"well that's just dumb." Razielle muttered shaking his head and starting to walk back towards Uriel. "And your welcome." He replied softly.
"So you've made your decision?" Uriel asked as the two approached. Razielle nodded "yes." He breathed "we'll take the assignment. "Until the Diety is found, we'll stay on Earth together."

@Fenrir

Uriel slowly nodded and glanced between the two "very well, from his day on you are both tasked with an unusual assignment. Each other. Until the Diety is found and a trial day can be established, the Angel Razielle and the Fallen One Simon will be sent to Earth to complete this task. May you complete your task with heart and understanding." Urielle bowed to the two. Razielle did the same, muttering a thank you to the archangel.

@Fenrir

Uriel nodded and opened a hole in the clouds beneath them. Leading them back to the city. "My blessing is with you, however much that may be worth. I genuinely hope to see you both back here soon."
Razielle gave the archangel and small nodded before taking a deep breath and plumbing into the night sky below, his wings screaming in protest as he strained them to fly, or at least glide down to Earth, not the most graceful thing in the world but at least he wasn't plummetting to his death like before. He landed a bit clumsily on the ground, his wings crumpled in pain behind him. He took a few deep breaths, trying to surpress a whimper of pain as he folded them back against him. He straightened and looked around, seeing that they were back at the church

@cryptic-glitch

Simon leaped into the circle made by the clouds and spread his wings, happy to feel the wind beneath them again. He landed a little more gracefully than Razielle. "You alright? I have a feeling that if you were to die, the angels would blame it on me."

@Fenrir

"I'm fine." He snapped over his shoulder, having not meant the words to come out so harsh. "I'm fine," he said more softly closing his eyes and trying to calm his erratic breathing "let's just get home and rest, it's been a very long day. Do you have a place to stay?" he asked

@cryptic-glitch

"I have an apartment, yes. Come on." He tucked his hands into his pockets and started down the street towards his apartment. Without bothering to look behind him, he sped up slightly. "It's just across the street." He arrived at the lobby, pushing open the door and climbing up the stairs to the third floor. He stopped in front of Door 27 and unlocked it with a brass key. Upon pushing the door open, a cat climbed up his leg and clung to his pants. They reached down and pulled the black and white spotted cat off their leg. "Spook, is now the time? I wasn't gone that long." The cat meowed, blinking her green eyes lazily. "You're too clingy, you know that?"

@Fenrir

Razielle followed close behind, tucking his wings close and ducking his head to avoid any unwanted attention as he half jogged to Simon's apartment. He tilted his head slightly as he glanced down at the cat when the door was opened. He slowly bent down and reached out his hand towards the cat, letting her smell him. "She's cute." He mused with a small smile "probably missed you, that or she's hungry."

@cryptic-glitch

Simon scowled. "She's always hungry. I spend a fortune on her. I like to think she missed me, but she only cares about food and the birds that land on the balcony." He dumped a scoop of food in the cat's bowl. "Jack is around here somewhere. Probably in the bathroom sink." Simon went into the bathroom and reemerged with a grey cat in their arms. He set the cat on the floor and pulled a book off their bookshelf, plopping onto the couch and opening the book.

@Fenrir

"you'd be surprised. You're not just a means of providing food for them." He said, sitting by the door to meet the cats, nudging them behind the ears and stroking their coats. "They're quite happy here. Plenty of food, entertainment and attention both from each other and you." He laughed softly and gently nudged the cats towards the kitchen so they'd eat. He sat against a wall, careful not to pinch his wings behind him as he watched Simon for a moment, interested to find d that the Angel had the capacity to sit a read instead if do something more high strung like Razielle had expected

@cryptic-glitch

"What?" he said tersely, tilting his head to look at the other angel. "Are you surprised I know how to read?" They turned the page. "I'm not stupid, you know."

@Fenrir

"no, not surprised that you know how to read, more that you read at all. You don't seem like the type to relax but reading a book." He shrugged with a small smile. What's the book about?" He asked curiously, shoving off the wall and resting his head on his hand
