"Mm… You'll have to keep a close eye on the fight to be able to get us out on the low chance things turn for the worse," Sam noted, still thinking. "And it would be useful to know just what would happen if someone got hit with one of those bolts…" Sam looked to Allx and Pan, a cue for someone to speak up if they knew what was good for them.

"Yeah…" Karia nodded. At Sam's words, he looked at the two as well. Allx was still ignoring everything. Pan didn't notice at first but yelped as soon as she did. "Oh! It's like a bullet. Like you got shot. From a gun." She sputtered. "But, like… not a bullet. But it feels like it. Nothing special."

"Oh. Well, that's a bit boring," Sam said. "But it is nice to have someone so willing to help." The man chuckled some, rolling his eyes as he looked to Allx. "Who knows, perhaps after this we should just have a… session with the ones who aren't. I think Harina and Pan might be the only ones left out of that."

Karia nodded along with Sam's words. "Oh, yeah. That would be a wonderful idea! And Harina and Pan could have a nice little rest while we have some fun with everyone else." He clapped his hands together, grinning. Karia was a little sad that the great Mycah didn't have something more interesting than magical bullets, so to speak. But at least this would make getting them easier and less dangerous.

"Seeing as they're the only ones who seem to even be trying to earn something like that." Sam laughed some, keeping his voice down for now as they neared the target. There would be bigger ones to come, he was sure.
"Though we might want to put the dolls up in case a certain one decides to try to play the hero and warn Mycah."

"Mmm, yeah. If you want, I can send them back to your room for the time being," Kaira offered quietly, glancing over at Sam. "That way they– specifically Allx– can't even think about doing something sketchy."

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"I mean, if you want to. My pocket is also pretty much a never ending void that the only way to get out of me taking them out, but if you think we should send them to the apartment I'm for it." Sam offered Pan to Karia, humming some.

"Oh. Yeah, that might be better. They have zero chances to escape that. You never know what Oci might do." Karia held his hand up, handing Allx over to Sam instead. "Have fun!" He gave Allx a little wave and a gleeful smile.

"Let him hope he doesn't try anything with my dolls," Sam said as he took Allx. He hummed as he put the two dolls in his pocket, leaving his hands inside for now.
"So, are you ready?"

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

"Yeah. He's too nosy for his own good." Karia shook his head. "Oh, am I ready? Hell yeah!" He grinned at Sam. "I think that, as long as I can get a clear view of the inside of the elevator, I should be able to get us into it without anyone seeing us. We'll just have to wait a little for someone to go up or come down."

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"Sounds like a plan to me," Sam said, nodding. He didn't say it out loud, but he knew if that man decided to try to do something with the dolls left at the apartment, he would find himself quickly joining them. No one fucked with his dolls. Except Karia.

Karia watched carefully. For a couple of minutes, not a single person went in or out of the elevator. He was feeling rather angry about that. This whole thing needed to be quicker, because what if something happened? Finally, the elevator doors slid open and a very fancy-looking couple stepped out. Karia was a little worried they would block the entire inside of the elevator, but he got a good enough look at it to be able to take them in. He waited until the doors had closed again before grabbing Sam's arm and teleporting them both inside.

Sam was surprisingly patient as they waited for someone to come out the elevator doors. He let out a content hum as they made it inside, leaning against the wall.
"This is going to be fun," he asserted. "They won't even realize we're coming."

"Yep!" Karia grinned. "The plan is going well." He stared at the panel of buttons, then pressed the button for the very top floor. "I'm looking forward to running circles around this person. And watching you utterly destroy them." He laughed lightly.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"Yes, it shall be interesting indeed. Lord I hope they're a screamer." Sam chuckled some, waiting as the elevator rose.
"They can't be intimidating if they'd rather leave the fight to two incompetent fighters."

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

"Oh, me too! Gods, I would love to see that. It's even better when they're made out to be dangerous and distant." Karia snickered at the thought. "Yeah, probably. Running away from a fight is not the most intimidating thing you could do. And hiding in your penthouse is even worse."

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"Everyone sees to have a stick up their ass anymore," Sam said, letting out a breath. "They just don't know how to have fun, or have to much pride to let anyone else." Sam waited as they neared the top, pulling his knife out.
"Ready?"

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

Karia nodded empathetically, his lips pressed together. Oci was like that, and it was insufferable. Sam was much, much better than him. "Yeah. I'll go first to get a glimpse of the area. Do you want to get them from behind, or charge in from the front?"

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"From behind. Getting shot isn't a fun experience." Sam chuckled dryly, rolling his eyes. "Though I doubt they could hit us anyway. If there's more than one person in there, I'm sure Pan is more than willing to help us."

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

"Behind it is." Karia nodded, grabbing onto Sam's arm and moving to be slightly in front of the man. A couple of suspenseful seconds, and the elevator reached its destination. Karia leaned forward as the doors slid open, doing a quick scan of the room the moment he could see inside. As far as he could see, there was no one in sight. That wasn't a good sign.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sam kept hold of Karia's hand, glancing out when he saw they weren't just jumping into action.
Shit. They hadn't been as sneaky as they thought, then. He wouldn't make the mistake of assuming Mycah simply was out for the moment, and if they didn't know the two were there they would soon.

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

"Ach, that's not good," Karia murmured, glancing around the area he could see. There was nothing there, though he could see signs of life. They were there, just hidden. They would both need to be extra careful, then. "I'm going to keep close to you, alright? Just in case." Karia let go of Sam's hand for the moment. It would be easier to look around and make sudden moves that way.

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

Karia quickly moved to shadow Sam. No matter where he went, Karia would be there to take him out of deadly danger. There was still nothing, still nothing. It was a very tense situation, and Karia wasn't appreciating it at all. Why couldn't Mycah just make themself known so they could get them? How dare they have self-preservation instincts.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

It was stupid. They would get Mycah in the end no matter what, why make it harder on them? It wouldn't end well for Mycah, that was for sure. Sam scowled, knife still in hand as he combed through the apartment.
