"True. I would have never thought you existed until I met you. You're just too good to be true." Karia smirked at him, though it was an appreciative smirk. "Oh, I don't doubt it. I've never gone up against them before. Ocean always sent people he didn't care about to face them. Probably a good thing, since no one came back alive." Karia peeked out into the main road and, finding nothing too sketchy, walked out of the alley.

Sam laughed softly as Karia smirked at him, nodding.
"Well, this will be quite interesting indeed, when the time comes." Sam followed Karia out of the alleyway, humming softly to himself in content.

Karia nodded and headed towards Mycah's headquarters. As far as he knew, the rest of their henchpeople weren't all that good. It was only his right-hand man they had to watch out for. That meant that they could probably break in without too much difficulty. "We're going to kick our way in, alright?" Karia whispered to Sam.

"Of course!" Karia laughed and nodded towards a rather boring-looking building ahead and to the left. "There it is." He grinned and skipped a few steps, his pace increasing. The door looked rather flimsy, didn't it? Perfect. Karia marched up to the door, getting a few weird looks from onlookers. He then kicked the door in, causing mass panic among the onlookers. "After you, my dear!"

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"Why thank you, my dear!" Sam laughed as Karia skipped up to kick the door, stepping inside. Aah, it was always fun to see the panic his actions caused, even more so with his partner now. He reached into his pocket and pulled his knife out, holding the mallet in the other still.

The people on the other side of the door were obviously not expecting this to happen. They all jumped up when Karia entered, hands reaching for weapons.
"Who are you?" One yelled, pointing a sword at Karia.
"Oh, no one that important, really," Karia answered, appearing at their side halfway through his sentence and wrenching the sword out of their grip. "We're just passing through."

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"We don't want to cause too much trouble," Sam said, before pausing. "Wait, no, I lied. I want to cause lots of trouble." He laughed some, looking between knife and mallet for a moment before settling on the mallet. He didn't want to keep any of these weaklings, after all.

The people had all leaped to their feet, drawing weapons left and right. The person Karia had acquired his sword from was staring at him in shock. "What? You've never seen someone bust in here before?" Karia laughed and slashed their throat open. "First time for everything, I guess!" He whirled on the rest of the people.

Sam cackled as he swung into action against the people as well. There was something just so… satisfying, to watch as someone's head caved in under his blows. Their blood spattering everywhere, the life draining from their eyes as Sam pulled his wonderful Harina mallet out of their skulls, bits of grey brain matter coming out with it.

The people didn't stand a chance against Sam, and Karia generally didn't have to do much. He still did, because it was fun to appear behind people and stab them when they least expected it. And if they were hurt, they couldn't run away from Sam as easily. The door slammed open right as Karia was pulling his sword out of someone's leg, revealing a tall man with red hair and tattoos spirling down his arms.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sam pulled his mallet out of the current dead body he was standing over, looking up at the newcomer.
"Ah, why hello~" He said, eyes gleaming. Whether this was Mycah or more probably his right-hand man, it didn't matter. Sam wiped some of the blood off of his lips that had spattered there, leaning against his mallet like a cane.
"Finally come to play~?"

The man took in the scene with a rather horrified look on his face.
"Why are you doing this?" He asked, his face rather comically confused.
"Well, you're all horrible people and deserve this, regardless. But I promised my good friend here some fun and you happened to be closest. Tell me, where's Mycah?" Karia glanced at the tattoos on the man's arms and decided not to get closer until he figured out what they did.
"Mycah? Oh. You're here for Mycah." The man's eyes hardened. "I'm afraid I can't let that happen." He waved a hand at them, black bolts of something flying from it at both of them.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sam ducked to the side of the way of the bolts, frowning before laughing.
"Oh, that's the thing you get mad about? Not how we just murdered a room full of people, oh no, but your precious Mycah? Death for us then!" Sam laughed again, moving to trade his weapons so his knife was in his dominant hand.

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

Karia teleported to Sam's side in order to dodge the bolts and peered at the man.
"They're the most important," The man answered. This was probably the right-hand man, then. It seemed that his tattoos could create bolts of something, maybe? As he watched, the black swirls on his arms shifted slightly. Black snaked up towards his fingertips, then flashed towards them again. So that's what his tattoos did. Karia was slightly disappointed, though maybe that wasn't the only thing they did.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"What, so if we had just come in here and murdered everyone but you two it would have been fine and dandy?" Sam glanced at Karia, undeterred by the man's powers.
"That powers pretty interestingly," he nodded. "If underhwelming. Might be fun to collect it." He glanced up at the black flashed at them, stepping out of the way again.
"Besides, it looks like I might have to get serious for this fight."

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

"Of course not. But we all know that Mycah is the most important." Karia rolled his eyes and quickly moved out of the way of the bolts. The man curled his lip up at the two dodging away from the bolts yet again. Well, maybe if he put a little more effort into killing them, he would have some luck. Karia tensed, anticipating more bolts and maybe even something else.
"Yeah, truly," Karia agreed, perhaps too early. The man shot another round of black bolts at them and disappeared through the doorway he'd come from.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sam let out a sigh as the man retreated, shaking his head.
"Well, that's no fun at all," he said pouting some. He took a moment to put his mallet in his pocket, looking at Karia.
"Think it's a trap?"

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me!" Karia exclaimed, stalking over to the door. On the way there, a person who somehow managed to dodge the massacre jumped up at him. Karia teleported out of the way and stabbed them through the throat, then continued to the door. It was locked. "I don't know. The locked door might just be extra bait."

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sam made his way over, looking down at the body of the fool who thought they could take Karia on. He looked over the door as well, sighing some.
"I mean, things will be more interesting if it is. Shall we head in, then?"

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

"Yep. Do you want to take this door?" Karia asked, laughing. He wished he'd seen on the other side of the door so they could just teleport in, but unfortunately, he hadn't been paying that much attention to the door when the man came in. Well, breaking doors was fun. So it didn't really matter in the end.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"Sounds good to me." Sam reached into his pocket, pulling his mallet out again to make a show of things. He hummed some, holding the mallet with both hands and knife between a couple fingers before swinging. The door crumpled wonderfully under his blow, the man smirking some.
"Never underestimate a man on his way for a new toy," he muttered, laughing some.

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

"Ooh, wonderful!" Karia exclaimed, giving Sam a round of applause. "Ha, how could they underestimate you and live?" He patted Sam's shoulder and peered through the doorway. It led into a corridor with a couple of closed doors and nothing else more interesting. "I guess we just pick a door and go for it, eh?"

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sam stepped into the doorway, rolling his eyes a bit.
"Nooo, this doesn't stink of trap at all," he said calmly. "So tell me, Karia, shall we try door number one or door number two to try to find our grand prize?" The man chuckled some, holding his mallet still and leaning on it like a cane.

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

Karia snickered. "I'm feeling door number two, Sam." He pointed at the chosen door. "And if that's wrong, it just means we get double the doors to smash in, right?" He grinned, feeling rather like a kid at an amusement park.
