On that note, I signed up for a free class on the Dagda at the Irish Pagan School. It was super wholesome and the teacher was great. Imagine a Jesus freak but instead of Jesus he's crazy about The Dagda in all the best ways (like, wears Dagda t-shirts even). Dagda is like the chief god of the Irish pantheon and known for being a father of many and a foster father to even more- so the teacher talked a little bit about how Dagda can be a Dag-dad to us too and a positive masculine role model. It was just really heartwarming and a good intro to The Dagda for me.

Plus winter solstice is coming up, and that's when I celebrate the nativity of Aengus at the Brú na Bóinne and now I know more about his dad!

Thinking about working towards working at a UU church.
But being a faith leader is huge deal.
It's definitely something I'm interested in career wise, and one of the more likely options.

GUYS I made a friend and they're a witch

I went to Applebees and my waiter commented on my shirt (featured astrology and other witchy things) and we talked for a bit. Turns out they're Wiccan!

alsooooo my friend's grandpa went to australia and he had him bring me back a bunch of crystals! i have a geode, a couple other crystals and rocks that i'm working on identifying, and some genuine turquoise. made my entire week

So back at home I have candles from when I was wiccan and idk what I'm supposed to do with them now??

Did a cord cutting and it was a Lot. Don't have normal big candles or the patience to sit there while they burn all the way down so I used tiny birthday candles. And I got some jars and two candles from the dollar store
And I promised Ares a big candle for helping me find something so I got that at walmart and he's pretty happy i think mostly because his candle is bigger than the other two, but he also has two altars now since I left his in tact at my dorm

That's really cool, Pickles. I gotta say, the whole birthday candles idea definitely helps.
Surprisingly the Dollar Store/Dollar Tree has a lot of interesting things that you can use on your altar. I found a cute vase yesterday. It was black with a lock and key tied around it with ribbon.

Pack of 60, they burn down in like five minutes. It's great

i need it to rain because i have n o moonwater to cleanse my crystals. used dirt this morning, which still works but like- moonwater. rainwater is second best so ima go pray for some rain.

What did they do

I was working on the floor and I had his candle lit next to me because I was too lazy to put it back on the shelf and she walks into the room, sees the candle, tenses and glares at it, the flames start going wild, then she creeps up on it like she's going to pounce
And then I grabbed her and kicked her out before she could eat the fire. I really need to start keeping them out of her reach because she has tried to lick every flame at least once so far

Well I mean one of his sacred animals is a dog so maybe that has something to do with it??

She also tried to stick her head in Persephone's while it was lit so I think it might just be her

So for the past few months, I've kinda fallen off the bandwagon in terms of keeping up with my craft, but then last night I just felt this like…pressure/need to do a protection candle, so I did? Also threw in some crystals for calm and dealing with anger and stuff, and I think it worked? Idk today's been a good day, and when I have time later I'm gonna do more research
