That's the world but the main continent is Medeis.
Funny story, I put medeis into google translate and it told me it meant magic in Latin which then led to me remembering that I had put magic into google translate when I first started Medeis and took the word without changing it at all. I regret it but there's no turning back now. Just change the pronunciation and everything will be alright.

The name of the civilization where my main characters are from in my sort of fantasy story is called Tristesi, which I got when I changed "tristesse" (sadness in French) a bit. I guess it fits because it's a dystopia, so.
Another civilization, a large island surrounded by smaller islands, is called Seacrest, because, ya know. Islands.
Most of the rest of the civilizations are just last names I thought were cool lol

Argeddon for my dark fantasy world. When naming my world i sort of wanted an almost 'hopeless dystopian' vibe to it, and 'Armageddon' seemed cool for a name. I was also debating 'Apocalypse' at the time. After removing a syllable, I had my name!

@TheGoldenLegend

My main world is called Veicarro (A Sci-fi world stuck in the medieval ages), the other important world in my story is called Zarreen, I didn't really care for this name actually, but Zarreen is the apocalyptic world of death so I bet the person that named this world hated it too so they gave it this name.

I don’t even have a good excuse for the name of my world…I kind of do, I had the most basic idea for it for as long as I can remember and the Cloud Lands was what I would always call it. It just stuck I guess.

@Socially_Awkwardy_Butterfly

My universe is called Anima because those are the manifestation of powers in the book, they look like animals but with slight changes.

The town it first takes place in is called Sylion which I came up with because of the pokemon Sylvion because they look elegant and powerful.

Then there is another town, Malbrook, which came from the low German meaning "dance devil" which basically describes that town perfectly.

Sorry if that was boring.

Thank you!

@hollow-boned

i really like the letters e and r and f because i have synesthesia and they're different shades of green and blue
so i named my main kingdom Tesmeren

Mine had the placeholder name of Etihw Gge for a LONG time, like two years? Anyways, that's just Egg White backwards, and it served me well until I finally thought of the actual name, this year.
The world's called Phouka, and actually it's a play off a name from a book I read ages ago that I can't remember anything else about. Phonetically, I just adore it. The place the story takes place in is the continent called the North Countries.

I call my world Jith (though it's only the name of the actual world in the sense that Earth is a world. I don't have a name for the universe yet). I like that name because it's simple enough to suggest any possibilities but unique enough to not sound, you know, bad.

mine just takes place on good 'ol Earth, but with magic involved and post-apocalyptic twinge to it.

@Oakiin

Two of the continents within my world are called Ildram and Ämburch. The world itself is called Myry'Spane. I know there are a couple more continents on the planet, but I haven't decided what they're called yet.
