GLaDOS tilts her head. “You don’t even know what a human is? Intriguing…” She stares off into space for a moment, then speaks again.

Human: a human being, especially a person as distinguished from an animal or, in science fiction, an alien. Does that clear things up?” She stares at Tseth again.

"Not at all… Thank you."

And, with haste, Tseth walked past GLaDOS and Serena. She didn't know exactly where she was going, but if she walked through this place long enough she might find a way out.

Or at least something familiar.

Despite the fact that Serena couldn't speak the language the two tall ones were speaking - at least not very well - she understood what they were saying.

She knew what a human was, though how a place could "have something against humans" was beyond her. Especially such a stale place as this, with no life to it beyond the people she'd met. She couldn't sense any other creatures nearby.

She retracts her hand from GLaDOS' grip and points at herself.

"Serena. What name?" she asks, pointing at GLaDOS.

Serena giggles.

"Nice meet. Friends?" she asks hopefully.

Honestly, the goblin child couldn't care less if you were three inches tall or 30 feet tall. As long as you didn't hurt her forest or the creatures in it, she was okay. Short of killing her, there was nothing anybody could due to make her not okay.

Which is why, when faced with a woman like GLaDOS who was made of metal, she didn't flinch away or consider her unsafe.

GLaDOS narrows her eyes at the little girl. “…Sure.” She didn’t really know what she was getting herself into with that statement, but it couldn’t be too bad. It wouldn’t be very pleasant to make Serena upset, anyway. She still had some morals. Maybe.

Tseth descended the staircase, slowly entering the next area. Which is where she found the variety of people that were here, and somewhat surprisingly, a couple familiar faces.

She stopped at the bottom of the stairs, taking in the new surroundings. This wasn’t anything like her home, or any other place on Kaelum. She could tell that much.

Once she snapped out of her own thoughts she realized that she had just entered a room full of people whilst carrying a sword. So, despite the passing thought that perhaps she should keep it out, she sheathed her weapon.

But she kept her hand hovering over it, just in case.

(I didn't mean it meanly, it's just the way of things. Besides, it seemed to be losing traction due to other reasons as well, so. . . not entirely one person's fault, you know?)
(Don't be so mean to yourself. It's just a matter of neurodivergence, in the end.)
