Did this girl really have anything to worry about? Not really, if you didn't consider Sebastian a threat. But to the girl he was casually following, he was scary. He was hungry, not scary. Sheesh, imagine being scared when you were about to die. He hummed to himself, playing with the chains that buttoned his vest closed. Although, sooner or later, he had enough. Sebastian dashed through the trees and rebounded off of a tree trunk, making bark spray everywhere. He did a backflip and landed in front of Scarlett, baring his fangs. "Why must you run? Running does not help."

“Oh please, you did not do anything wrong. You smelt extremely good, and I thought to myself “that girl could make for a wonderful snack!” He crooked a smile. “Now, I do prefer my food not to squeak.” He grabbed her by the wrist. “What use is there in sparing you?”

"I do not want to die. What a conceivable argument. Please, tell me more about how you do not want to die." Sebastian looked up at the sky and then down at the girl. "What is a girl like you doing out at night anyway? What are doing running through a mucky forest? It is quite improper of you." He started to creep closer and quickly grabbed her by the jaw. "Please, enlighten me, then I might rethink what I will do about you."

Scarlett looked as if she'd have a heart attack she took another step back she knew if she ran he would catch her she followed his gaze up to the sky and then looked back at him," I was only looking for my brother, he's gone missing…" she nearly screamed when he grabbed her jaw she just sobbed quietly avoiding his eyes "why kill me when the human body can make more blood would you rather kill me and have one meal or spare me and have a thousand."

Sebastian rolled his eyes. “Votre frère ne serait pas dans les bois.” He muttered under his breath. Daylight was breaking in and Sebastian did not like light. It killed his mood. It’s killed his vibe. His grip on her jaw tightened. “Are you trying to make an offer? As in offering yourself up?” He laid his heavy amber eyes upon her. “I do like the idea of have a frequent supply, but I do not usually let my food make the terms…” Sebastian paused. “Well, maybe just this once.”

Scarlett looked confused she didn't speak French, a few straggling tears rolled down her cheeks as his grip tightened on her jaw and she let out a small whimper as she looked up into his eyes hers weren't as beautiful just a bright emerald green color she didn't speak much more afraid that she might say, something to provoke him

Sebastian scoffed, the whimpers slightly hurting his ears. “If I do this..” he let go of Scarlett’s jaw. “Will you stop whining like un chien?” He backed away quietly. “You have made me overdue my stay. See those rayon du soleil? They hurt my eyes.” Sebastian hiss, shouldering past Scarlett to go shelter himself in his home.

Sebastian didn’t care what Scarlett did. He wasted time talking to his meal rather than eating it. What a common blunder of his, but Sebastian didn’t care. He had to go home now. The sun rose above the mountains, hitting his amber eyes. He hissed in pain as look a long trail back to his Victorian mansion. When family was rich, they give you stuff yoke doesn’t need. Sebastian entered the home, clicking the door closed. It’s was spacious with neutral colors on display. His servant took on look at him and frowned. “You did not eat, sir.”

Sebastian was in a mood. A very bad mood. “No, I did not have time to. The food talked on and on before I had a chance to strike.” The servant shifter his weigh onto his left foot. “Then go drain an animal.” The servant suggested. “No, I do not wish to. I will eat later.” He walked past the servant and up the spiral stair case. Sebastian opened the door to his room. Black out curtains shielded him from the sun. He went to lay in his bed, uncomfortably hunger from a failed outing.

Scarlett scurried off in the opposite direction of
Sebastian and hurried to her home she walked inside and shut the door behind her why had she gone out there her idiot brother wasn't worth dying and now what was she supposed to do as she was a thrall? No… Maybe she was how would she find out?

Sebastian laid on his bed, curling in on himself. Closing his eyes, he fell asleep until the next night. His servant came to wake Sebastian, but didn't want to stir. "Leave me be." He mumbled. The servant was obviously concerned, so he would have to bring the food to Sebastian. Sebastian's servant climbed down the stairs and slipped on a cloak. He stepped out into the crisp night air, looking for a suitable meal for his master. Sebastian, on the other hand, didn't have the appetite. It was unusual for the vampire.

The servant wandered around the evening markets, looking for something to satisfy his master’s needs. Someone he might enjoy as a snack. There were many venders. Some people sold fruits and other’s handmade crafts, but many were packing up at this time. Many of the people looked to be weak or too young, but one person caught his eyes… Scarlett.

The servant took out a little bottle from his bag, pouring its contents onto a small cloth. He crept behind Scarlett and placed the cloth towel over her nose and mouth, hoping the chloroform would do its job.

Scarlett was in a panic. She tried to scream, but her voice was muffled under the cloth. She frantically kicked her legs as her attack grabbed her around the waist. A sickening sweetness pooled into her mouth, almost like that intoxicating scent of milkweed. The attacker held onto her tightly. She gripped onto the attacker’s arm, trying to pull him away from her. She didn’t have the strength to do it. Her grip got weaker, and the scenery started to blur together. How lonng had it been under the attacker’s hold? She couldn’t tell. With each breath she got more and more tired.
