Valerie once found an ancient relic called the "Arsonator", which was a strange gauntlet-looking thing. She then took over, with the Axolotl as her only superior in the entire universe.

The Laws of Physics are the same, except the Axolotl can do whatever he wants, and he can grant exceptions to the laws of physics if you bring him a gift he likes.
