j.k. (can i call you that, j.k? just kidding, i don’t give a shit) is a TERF, and although her books are beautifully written for the most part, some of her shitty takes tend to slip through the cracks.

deSPITE (sorry) once holding j.k. rowling as my absolute favorite author and a wonderful woman, she has since fallen from that regard, and fallen hard at that. any harry potter fan knows about rowling's numerous controversies, and despite the harry potter books arguably saving my life (and just being generally wonderful stories), she has grown to greatly disgust me.
