Procris-1

The planet Procris-1 was the first in a mission for the Procris ship, meant to spread the Terran people across the stars in the hope of escaping their home planet while it withered away. Due to an unfortunate series of events, the mission ended as quickly as it began and this planet is the only location visited by the ship as it crash landed. This event is now referred to as The Horizon.

While the original plan for the ship, Procris, was to be the initial scout ship for the Terran people, a terrible accident befell the ill-fated mission. Much of history has been lost through the ages, with only a few knowing the true origin of their new home.

After years of exposure to this new atmosphere, humans began to mutate to their new home. In the first Ages of civilization, a creature, Lightfang, was discovered in the depths of a lake near the initial landing site now known as Raza or 'New Beginning', one that would forever change the way we see the world around us. These people are now called The Mystical, followers of ZZ, who founded their group. The ink that is gathered from the lightfang, when tattooed into the body, allowed the user to control the elements and sometimes even other living creatures. For those with this abnormality, it became the norm to brand themselves with tattoos which symbolized their knowledge and understanding of this new world.

While the original plan for the ship, Procris, was to bring the best and brightest of their respective technological, scientific, and other fields, there was an issue discovered in the final stint of travel. The resulting crash caused the loss of much of the crew and ship to be lost. Because of this, the survivors must live on the planet using much of the same technology as the Terran "Medieval Era".

Relative in size and location to it's sun, this new home for the human race is roughly equivalent to the Terra that was left behind. Because of this, the transition to life on their new planet was easy.

There is a story that has lasted through the ages that the "Predecessor on Terra" have sent more people to this system in the hopes of escaping the impending death of the human's home planet of Earth. Time is referred to as "Ages", which roughly equates to 72 years of life on Procris-1 or 17 Terran Years.
