Forest

Forest is a webcomic that takes place within a huge forest, referred to as the Forest. It is located in eastern North America. There are approximately 100 races scattered throughout the Forest. The Forest is incredibly dense, so much so that people rarely ever leave their homeland. Locations in Forest (but not necessarily the Forest) include Emberwood, Lunarwisp, Blueshore and Slatesand (aka Terraquilla), Loveclaw Valley, Aqui’o, Montonitrus, the Untouchable Thicket, Marekaj Village, the Fae Territories, the Protector’s Territories, Inkaus, and Shiftrea. Forest focuses on the aftermath of the most recent Restoration Festival and the events that lead to Ash, Ferrin, Vyrelia, Malkrik, Hylarke, and Siren questioning everything they’ve been taught about the Forest.

High Fantasy

Forest was originally the very same world we live in. The Protector was a normal girl living in New York. Her father left and her mom was an alcoholic. She stole a prototype of time travel technology that the government was developing and went back in time to prevent the burning of the Library of Alexandria so that magic would be preserved and the world she lived in would never happen and nobody would ever be hurt again. Using magic, she built great geographical barriers between groups of people so that she would be their sole influencer. (Kind of like texting each person individually instead of having a group chat?)

Same as real world, except sometimes physics don't apply because ~magic~
