Ariel's Cradle

This mid-size farming town is another refuge from the dark, protected by carefully etched protective wards erected by the Ministry of Dawn. Ministry priests erect SunWards around the city's periphery to keep most of the evil things out at night. The city's main product is food. All around the cradle is fertile farmland, which must be carefully tended in the day. At night, the farms and supply sheds are abandoned. Oddly, no creatures of the dark ever bother to hide out in the supply barns or sheds, and the crops are never molested.
