Darius Rohan Satori

Description

Aristide and Sienna had their first child at age 15/16 when they met for the first time. Both were high school sweethearts and outcasts in their town, contributing to them enjoying each other's company.
Darius' birth was in fact an accident, but Sienna refused to get an abortion with the hope that Aristide was true to his word when he said he would take care of them both.

Jake Grey Satori

Description

Aristide and Sienna, after graduating high school and settling down in a worn-down house on the outskirts of a city near a rail yard, decided they would focus on saving their money for Darius' education and house maintenance.
At this point, Aristide had enrolled in the military, only 18 years old and fresh out of high school with no time to think about higher education. Both Aristide and Sienna didn't have a lot of money to their names and were desperate since their family refused to help them after the fiasco that followed Darius' birth.
After two years of working for the government's military, an unknown branch of the government, Nexus, started to get more involved with the country's matters and asked for permission to run blood tests on everyone in the military.
Aristide was one of the individuals sought out for this blood test since he was at the top of his rank and his superiors had very high hopes for him in the future.
However, not even two months after, one of Nexus' officials showed up at the Satori household where Sienna was preparing a meal for Darius who would have been six years old at the time. That was the first time Sienna came in contact with Nexus, who over the course of two more months tried to persuade Aristide and Sienna to conceive a child for them.
In the beginning, there were a lot of promises being offered to the Satori's, things like "A check will be written in your name, just name the price." among other things like a fully paid education for Aristide, giving him the opportunity to drop out of the military and spend more time with his family while they lived comfortably with the money they would have received on top of the full ride to any university he wanted.
Both Sienna and Aristide were hesitant on the offers, it seemed a little too easy but very tempting all the same.
However, in the end, Sienna refused because of the lack of information Nexus was willing to give them on what would happen to the child afterward.
Nexus' attempts didn't stop there, and their "promises" and bribery completely stopped and turned into full-blown threats.
It quickly became apparent in those months that their lives were at risk, including their child's life, Darius.
There was a lot of back and forth between Aristide and Sienna on what they would do. They could move countries, but they were being heavily watched, they wouldn't get very far, and feared the worst. They could refuse and suffer the consequences, or give in and be done with it- completely turning a blind eye to what would happen to the child.
In the end, they opted for the latter, and the following year, Jake was born.
