The Ovini were created by Sakura Mining, Inc during the Age of Capital as cheep labor. They used a largely human base, but incorporated Ovine traits, with the goal being to increase obedience. After the Sundering, they were further modified by the Gauka-Saeed. Namely, their sheep-like traits were emphasized, to further distinguish them from humans.
