Many Walkers can be found in places of political power as well, especially in Acanthio where the queen herself is a Walker. They are extremely charismatic and considered very attractive for their dark marble like skin. The Walkers tendency to make deals and wagers is often associated with their rumored demonic origins. Other races are either mistrustful of or beguiled by them.
