Talexi
The Talexi are exceedingly intelligent, long-lived beings from the long-lost planet of Talexia.
One of the Talexi's most prominent physical features is the pair of swept-back horns that grow from the tops of their skulls.
Beyond this very visually apparent feature, they have sharp teeth and claws, making it particularly nasty to get in a physical tussle with one. However, as they're on the small side many other beings in the galaxy would have no trouble overpowering them.
Talexi are usually around 5'5" on average.
Talexi are usually in the realm of 160-180 lbs.
Talexi tend to wear rugged and durable clothing.
Talexi tend to be slim and lithe, bearing little body fat.
Talexi skin colors range among various shades of grey and brown. Rarer shades of green and red are not unheard of either.
As a society as a whole, the Talexi's undoing may have been their overly trusting attitude toward the rest of the galaxy, as their collaboration with the wrong guests led to the obliteration of their homeworld, leaving few survivors.
Generally speaking, Talexi are very clever and sharp-witted individuals. One of their greatest strengths is their intelligence, and overall this propensity for intellect has enabled them to contribute significantly to the continued technological explosion seen by the collaboration of worlds enabled by the CSFS.
One of the Talexi's greatest contributions to the galactic technological ecosystem is their research and development in the realm of genetic engineering. One of the most cutting-edge and unexplored areas of interest was that of genetic engineering. The Talexi's unfortunate lingering legacy is the Caddisian application of the Talexi's genetic modification technology and the Caddisians' nanotechnology into an insidious development known as the technovirus.
Undeniably the single most important event in Talexi history is the destruction of their entire homeworld.
Over a hundred cycles ago, their planet was assaulted by a rogue Tesserian maniac known as Vortex. Vortex, with the forces of the _____ behind him, took a particular interest in the Talexi as a pilot deployment of the Caddisians' latest nanotech development—their DNA-corrupting nanovirus.
