edit Notes
Notes

Produced by the hydrothermal vents, hydrothermal energy is a magic wielded by The Burned Ones that has the power to look ahead in time (with a maximum of four hours) and influence the destiny of a creature.

Wielders of Hydrothermal Energy need to constantly restock their supply of energy at the hydrothermal vents by spending time beside or on them. Side effects that wielders experience include exhaustion, loss of sight, loss of connection with reality, megalomania, increased weight loss, and paler, more rubbery skin. Despite perhaps being at perfect health, wielders may look incredibly odd and unhealthy.
Hydrothermal energy can also be very addicting. Wielders become so used to the (rather limited) power that the energy grants them that they can experience withdrawal symptoms when they have not recharged in a while.
