Possessed Dolls
Excerpt from 'Dolls: Innocent Children's Toy or Vessel for Evil?' by Itoro Parvin
"Dolls: innocent children's toy, or vessel for evil? The answer sits somewhere in the middle.
Many parents make or buy these seemingly innocent humanoid shaped toys for their children to play with. Many children have multiple dolls, and will play with the dolls as if they are real people to pass the time. They are given names and clothing, their hair is styled and brushed, and playing dolls with other children can help develop important social skills.
But beneath the surface we find that these toys alone seem to be a source of demonic possession. No other toys that children commonly play with will generate reports of moving on their own, talking, and other qualities we see in possessed items.
I thought to myself, why is this? So I set about to find an answer, and I believe I've arrived at a conclusion; they're shaped like humanoids and other living things.
Bearing the general arrangement of a head and torso, and two arms and legs, dolls are close in shape to most humanoids. Should the 'doll' technically be considered a stuffed animal such as a teddy bear this arrangement is still true. And as this is the general body shape that demons also have, barring perhaps some wings, horns, or tails.
So to demons, these 'toys' are extremely inviting. It allows them the same arrangement of limbs they are already used to, and they are empty vessels with all the emotions of the children who own them poured in. To the point that yes, we do see a trend where those who are more well loved and played with tend to not only more frequently be possessed but that possession is stronger.
To this end, then, should we ask if children should have dolls at all? I personally say no, and the world would have a lot less demonic activity if we put a stop to ownership of vessels they can easily possess and in turn use to manipulate and possess living hosts - especially the children who own the dolls. Yet all of my efforts to make this research known and advocate for such a thing have been met with disdain, disbelief, and calls that I am a madman.
I am no madman. I will prove it."
