William Griffin is a Murderer

The belief that William Griffin murdered Theodore Daniels in La Magie Village in 1965.

Hoax

In 1965, William Griffin and Theodore Daniels were in the middle of a private magic lesson (so only they were present). At a certain point in the lesson, William (who was usually very skilled at magic up until this point) cast a spell that accidentally hit Theodore and killed him. It was directly after this that the rest of the village came to the area, saw Theodore's dead body, looked to William and turned on him, calling him a cold blooded murder because of his previous skillfulness making this tragic event look calculated.

William did kill Theodore in 1965.

William did not murder Theodore.

The fact that no one in the village but William and Theodore were present when it happened, and that William was usually skilled at magic - so no one but William could know whether or not it was intentional, and his previous actions suggested the event was calculated.
