While only the actual makers in the islands know the true creation process rumors abound that the dust contains anything from refined celestial, fiend, or even elemental blood to such outlandish ingredients as ground dragon scales, various magical stones crushed into powder, and even lava from Fimbulventr. However the makers guard their secrets well to prevent competition, so it's nearly impossible get an accurate sense of exactly what it's made of.
