Pearl of the Moon

This so-called "pearl" is actually a milky white gemstone, moonstone, shining many different colors when stuck by the light of the moon, but shines only white when seen by the light of the sun. Set into a rather plain gold band--remarkable only by the fact it has been cleaned and shined so much over the years that it is more white than gold--this tear-drop shaped stone is roughly the size of a sour grape.
