Valdis is made of the iron of a god's own blood, melted down and refined into a legendary weapon that can only be wielded by a warrior. It was made with only one strain of a god's blood so it will not overpower most mortals that use it. The rest of the blade is made of precious metals.

Valdis weighs about five pounds, but only few can pick it up without the voices of the dead inside it driving them insane. Even fewer can wield it effectively.

Valdis was made in the years before the epic 100 year war. It was Marisha-ten's legendary weapon before it was passed down to her bloodline. She used it whenever she fought.

Valdis possesses the magic of the dead. Valdis captures every soul it kills to teach the true meaning of death to its handler. In addition to this, Valdis magnifies the [power of whoever wields it, often causing mass destruction.
