Etzao Baklan

Etzao Baklan is a term used for an armour around the heart, magically imbued to protect the wearer from the effects of using cosmic magic. Baklan is the rarest form of Etzao, as it is typically considered purely superstition on the part of the Seidr. It's meant to protect the wearer from the spiritual deterioration cosmic brings to mortals.
The word Etzao Baklan is derived from Primordial, with “Etzao” meaning “Protect” and “Baklan” meaning “Soul.” Literally, it translates to “Soul Protection.”
