Despite the name, Deaths Jesters are a monastic order practicing the techniques of Long Death. They are obsessed with understanding Death and what the physical body goes through upon dying, using this knowledge to avoid Death and extend their own lives.

Every decade Erith is turned from a relatively peaceful monastery to a battleground for a week as The Tournament of Deaths Jesters commences, with the height of it all being the Grand Master vs Tournament Champion, with each Grand Master rotating out every time. It's a wonderful celebration that everyone in the city looks forward to, and travelers come from all over the world to partake.
