Celeste, the Astral Dragon

Celeste is the god of knowledge, arcane, and forging. She lives in the The Loreforge (new) , a place of infinite laboratories, libraries, workshops, and schools.

She is particularly revered by wizards, bards, artificers, and all who love knowledge and craftwork.

Celeste is an astral dragon. While all the gods can take any form they wish, she is most often seen as a blue dragon with translucent skin, stars where her joints would be, and clouds of arcane energy constantly billowing under her skin.

Prayers to Celeste may be verbal or written, but it is tradition to have a book of prayers with you in which you write your prayer down. As Celeste is the god of knowledge, prayers seem to have more potency when written.

Celeste delights in ceremonies which celebrate the advancement or achievement of knowledge. Graduation ceremonies may receive a visit from an envoy of Celeste, or possibly even Celeste herself. So it is traditional to have a cleric of Celeste administer these proceedings.

Celeste's temples vary dramatically. Whether a library, a forge, a workshop, a school, or other locus of knowledge - any can be (but do not have to be) dedicated to Celeste and administrated by her clerics.

Celeste often answers prayers by sending an envoy with a book, object, or crafted work from the loreforge that will aid the person in their quest for knowledge. It is tradition when this happens to record this in the person's prayer book, and detail everything they can about it.

When the required item is no longer needed or when it is needed elsewhere, an envoy will often show up to claim it and take it back to the loreforge.
