Vortar

God of Slavers

Vortar is the patron god to slavers, for his powers help with binding others against their will be it physically or mentally.

Legends say that Vortar discovered this power after being enslaved by a dragon himself as a child, working all his life to free himself from that enslavement and kill the dragon. His hatred for that dragon grew even after its death, however, as he began to hate other dragons for not stepping in to help as well.

Soon that hatred drove him to become one of the most infamous dragon slayers, the power of their deaths and blood giving him godlike powers and twisting his desires. He enslaved the last surviving dragons and their kin as he had once been enslaved, and became a god to those who wished to do the same.

Though his name has faded into obscurity after the last cataclysm and dragons have seen a rise to power once more, there are still those who whisper his name in the shadows and pray to him for power.
