Bleached blonde, visible dark roots. She doesn't care enough to touch them up as often as she should, and even when she does get them done, it's only due to Nicholas Richardson offering to do it for her.

Her slightly wavy hair falls just below her armpits, and she has straight across bangs she trims herself. She usually keeps her them out of her eyes with colorful clips and barrettes.

Ashley has a generally average figure with the exception of her larger bust. Her default expression is bored and doesn't tend to change much at all, even if she's positively estatic.

She has a silver double tongue piercing, full lips, and heavy-lidded eyes.

Growing up in a rich household gives her access to most designer brands and the latest in preppy fashion but she prefers to dress in dark, moody shades and borderline trashy mall goth outfits. However, she sometimes combines the two, classy sweaters and pleated skirts in shades of grey and purple meshed with heavy black jewelry and platform boots.

She can't go more than a second without cursing or calling someone a name, in good humor or otherwise. Her vulgarity stems from her inability to show emotion in other ways as well as her curtness. She also has the speech pattern of a stereotypical valley girl, sprinkling in a 'totally' or a 'like' between the majority of her words. Her voice itself is rather flat and monotonal.

Ashley claims her only motivation is to stick it to old rich bastards, but she also has a strong drive to protect her loved ones.

She can be hypocritical at times, scowling at the rich while she's one of them. She of course tries to be better than her high class compatriots, but rarely admits to her own faults when in the wrong. She also tends to be overly blunt to the point of rudeness, and can't express her emotions well.

She can never fully trust older people, regardless of how kind or sweet they are. Optimists freak her out as well, though she's best friends with one.

She's talented with a makeup brush and is good with small children, despite her surliness.

Ashley enjoys doing makeup, whether it's her own or others. It calms her, and is a way of expressing herself that doesn't rely on opening up to strangers about her deepest feelings

Ashley is the picture of rich teenage rebellion. She cares for almost no one, but she would lay down her life for those select few. Everyone else, however, she treats like scum on her black platform Doc Martens. She's both disgusted and amused by human beings, disappointed by their lack of sympathy but entertained when they spoil things for themselves. She never goes out of her way to cause harm to others but her blunt, profane way of speaking tends to offend most. She deliberately refuses to buy high end products, only using or wearing them if they were gifted to her. She's generally apathetic to the world and spits at strangers for fun, but Ashley attempts to be a good person where it really counts, like with small children, animals, and the issue of wealthier people having better opportunities. She doesn't think she's better than half of humanity because she's rich, but because she has some semblance of morals and can accept how terrible the human race can be.

High school

Ashley grew up on the East side of York Springs, populated by people of the wealthier sort. Her parents were always loving and yet she always felt unsatisfied. She of course loved her parents, but she grew more and more bored of high society the longer the was around them. When it came time to enroll in high school, Ashley was able to convince her parents to send her off the the private school with the highest amount of scholarship kids rather than the prestigious academy they had originally thought of. It was there that she cemented her reputation as the girl who would spit in your eye if you looked at her funny. This did nothing to deter her soon-to-be best friend, however, and Nicholas Richardson pestered her every day until she allowed him to eat lunch with her on the roof. After that, they became a strangely perfect duo, Ashley finally finding someone she could be affectionate with and Nicky finding someone that wouldn't be deterred by his clingy behavior.
